“Good coffee! They had a lot of really tasty looking pastries but I decided to pass. Nice guy at the front counter. Also nice atmosphere. I should have brought my laptop. Lots of people enjoying coffee and typing away. This seems like a good spot to hang out.“

“On a recent trip to Seattle with friends I was thrilled to find this little organic cafe where I could get my morning celery juice and custom smoothie. We had breakfast here every day and lunch one day too. All food was extremely fresh, organic and reasonably priced. The guys at the cafe were super friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be back and highly recommend.“

“Fit Bar is exactly its name! They have many options that keep your health in mind, while being flavorful. From juices, teas, coffee, smoothies, smoothie bowls (which are my FAVORITE) and more. You can also upgrade them by infusing with mushroom supplements or cbd+. They also now have snacks like waffles, donuts, pop tarts, and some grab and go options. I love to get the bowls, PBPower Bowl with butter blended in is my go to. I also like the Brazilian, and the Admiral if I'm not in the mood for peanut butter. Those are a great start if you're new to açaí bowls. Some of the other bowls can be more tart depending on the fruits like the Pitaya which is still delicious but just a different flavor. The Vigor bowl is very healthy and good but if you prefer not to taste your veggies I'd choose another option. But there's something for everyone. Customer service is always friendly, and nice. It's a tiny little cafe so I prefer and highly suggest ordering online if you don't want to wait in line. It can get pretty busy I'm sure many businesses and the community are regulars so go and try, and find your favs and know what you want to get before hand. Unless you're fine with waiting a good 20-40+ mins, all depending on the day of course. Sometimes there's no wait but as the sun peaks the line can get long. They do have a couple seats outside where you can hang! It's more on the pricy side but with such quality ingredients and being a small business I like to think it is worth it! Fit Bar has saved my day a couple of times while working long hours I can't stop to eat much or have time to take long breaks. The smoothie bowls help fuel me through the day! All in all it's worth the wait, and price for a convenient way to keep your body healthy and tastebuds happy!“

Hydrate Juice Bar Juice • $$
2025 1st Ave, Seattle

“I was having a self care day and was craving something refreshing, so I decided to visit Hydrate Juice Bar. As soon as I walked in, I was immediately greeted by the staff and was provided great hospitality during my time there. And although the space is more on the intimate side, the atmosphere and aesthetic is comforting. Looking at the menu, there was a wide variety to choose from - açaí bowls, smoothies, wellness shots and even lattes. I had ordered the matcha latte and the farmers market açaí bowl. For the matcha latte, I wouldn't exactly say it's the greatest but it is okay. The almond milk and the almond butter in the latte was too overwhelming for me. As for the farmers market açaí bowl, it was very good! The consistency of the açaí was smooth, toppings included were fresh and generous. I will definitely come back to visit Hydrate Juice Bar in the near future!“

“I've been to these guys plenty of times before. Their Kitand bread sandwiches are delicious. Whether you want something sweet or savory, they have a good variety. I went for the Lean Pastrami Kitanda. What I first like about the sandwich is that it is nice and small and not overall stuffed with ingredients. You are able to taste the pastrami, the spinach and the mozzarella on every bite. As for the texture of the bread itself is slightly crunchy at first bite, but once you keep chewing away the texture becomes more soft and chewing. It does not have a big amount of salty taste, but none the less, it is an overall yummy and delicious experience.Oh the young staff (most likely UWS students) are always super friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!“

“Quick service, friendly staff, awesome Brazilian pastries. ?? friend recommended the Romeo and juliet cheese bread and it was 5/5. Sliced fresh cheesy bun, with jam and cheese in the middle and toasted. The perfect balance of sweet and gooey cheese especially on a cold day. The shop is rather small and tables were a bit messy and windows were covered in graffiti unfortunately ? don't miss out on the awesome baked goodies though!“

Emerald City Smoothie Juice • $
9881 Aurora Ave N, Seattle

“This place is my go-to for fresh fruit smoothies. It's a grab-and-go type of shop, easily accessible with ample, free parking outside and a bus stop steps away. I've probably never been inside more than five consecutive minutes, nor seen a line more than two people long. The operator, Zach, is friendly, fast, and pressure-free-patient as you choose a regular or large size from the display of 40 recipes. He's also a certified nutritionist (a plaque on the wall says so).You might think from the intense flavors that the smoothies here are loaded with added sugars, but--surprise--that sweetness is completely natural! (I've tried replicating the quality myself, and can vouch for the wonders of banana and citrus.)As a quick source for a healthy indulgence whether I'm too busy for a full meal, feeling under the weather, or wrapping up a workout, Emerald City Smoothie holds a special spot on Aurora Ave and in my heart.“

“I love ordering the large vitality bowl here! The texture of the açaí is perfectly smooth, not melted or icy at all, and the serving was more than enough for two people to share. Usually açaí bowls are expensive and servings are smaller than desired, but the large bowl here was $14 and as big as two normal bowls at other places. Service was fast and the bowl tasted delicious. No complaints whatsoever.“
