“We stopped in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. I was worried because there was nobody in the restaurant & other places had lines to get in. (usually, that is a bad sign). But, it turns out they had just opened up. Before we got our food, others had trickled in.The food took a while, but it was amazing. The chimichurri sauce was incredible. Definitely recommend this somewhat hiden jem.“
“My family is Salvadoran and it's hard to find truly Salvadoran shops, restaurants and bakeries and I'm happy to share that you can find all here. AND the food was authentic, with rich flavors, fresh and DELICIOUS! My mom will approve! They have a freezer full of hard to find Salvadoran treats, a refrigerator full of creams, cheeses and drinks, snacks and authentic seasonings. The baked goods were tasty, and not overly sweet, offering traditional pastries, cookies, cakes and desserts. Their pan Frances was perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. They had tres leches, too, which I'm not a fan of because it tends to be too sweet, messy, and soaked to fall apart but I tried my son's and surprisingly it was none of that.We ordered pupusas (de queso and queso and beans) and they were palm size with a good filling size. Their curtido and sauce was ok. I ordered the platanos fritos plate (frijoles, crema, pan francés, chorizo Salvadoran) and it was a full-size platano cut in half, the beans were creamy and and flavorful. The order was enough for me to take home.We ate and brought home a lot for later. The staff was super helpful and friendly willing to take special requests. We will definitely be returning!“
“One of our favorite places to eat ever!! After trying many, many, many Pupusas elsewhere, we keep coming back here. The spinach Pupusas are my favorite, the melted cheese crust is the best! The server Luis is the best, so fast, nice and remembers you by name.“
“Food truck with solid tacos with a variety of proteins. Its was my first time trying pupusas and they were pretty good. Basically a stuffed pancake. I preferred the loroco version more but they were both extremely greasy. They could also benefit from more salsa options. The owner is nice and took care to understand my order correct. Overall good option if in the area but nothing to rave about.“
“I’ve lived down the street from this spot for 10 years. When they first popped up I was so excited! Their food is incredible. I have their number saved in my phone as well as their Pupusa menu. My favorite is the pork cheese and bean! The people who leave bad reviews is because they order at the truck. They’re always busy and usually a 15-25 minute wait. I always call ahead and pick em up right when I get there. They’re busy because their food is so good! I’ve recommended to so many people and show friends this spot who haven’t had Pupusas before! Their other food is bomb too!“
“Every time I am in Seattle I make a stop at La Cabanana. The service is friendly and quick and the food is authentic and finger licking good! If you are wanting something different I highly recommend this place! I absolutely love their horchata made fresh daily along with the chicken pastalitos with a side of fried sweet plantains with cream and beans. Their papusosas are one of the best in Seattle!Vegetarian options: Substitutions availableParking: Next to the restaurant and window view available of parking lot tooKid-friendliness: Family friendly establishmentWheelchair accessibility: Yes it is!
