I'd like to update my review after being invited back by the manager following my birthday experience.

The manager and staff went above and beyond to make up for my last visit and made sure I had the memorable birthday experience I was hoping for. The staff were so kind and incredibly informative about each dish that was set at the table. The manager also stopped by several times throughout our visit to personally check in and make sure everything was going well.

I really appreciated the effort that went into making this experience memorable! It says a lot when a restaurant is willing to listen to feedback and genuinely make things right.

I will definitely be returning!

I was really disappointed with my experience here. I made a reservation a week in advance letting the host know that it was my first time coming in and it's for my 34th birthday, so if they had a nice table, I would really appreciate it. When we got there at our reservation time, they had us wait for a bit, only to seat us right next to the entrance where we were incredibly close to two other tables. The food was good, but I was not happy with the experience. As a former host and restaurant manager, they completely dropped the ball for a special occasion.“

“Superb food and staff! Excellent cocktail game and I love their Moroccan wines. Brothers Khalid and Aziz are top shelf people and owners. Every time we take guests there for the first time, they love it and often say it was one of their best meals ever! Get the harissa veggie, squid Steak and tenderloin for sure. Great specials always!“

“Everything we had was high quality, flavorful and super a scrummy!! Guacamole/plantain chips, beef enpanita, shrimp tacos, brisket taco, Cuban Sammy. People around us had these beautiful cocktails with flowers, umbrellas, etc. Huge selection of rum too. Loved the decor and servers were sweet as pie.“

“I came here on Cinco de Mayo. The chips and salsa were tasty. Both salsas were flavorful and had a good hint of spice. Plus the tacos and margarita
were delicious and fresh. I would come back here on my next visit to Seattle. Atmosphere was friendly, great staff & everyone was having a great time.“

“My wife and I have come here for the drinks and occasionally truffle pommes frites or some oysters, but this time we tried some of the other menu items for dinner. My wife got the Halibut (Chapter 6) and I got the Mushroom Pasta dish. (Chapter 5)

I asked Casey if he recommended the mushroom dish and he said it was one of his favorites. I'm not a foodie, so I don't get overly excited over food but let me tell you... It was so good that it prompted me to write a review about it. I actually felt an endorphin rush from eating it! My wife loved the halibut, (which I also tried) and I would say getting her to eat fish is usually a challenge unless her fisherman father prepares it!

I would recommend a Manhattan or Old Fashioned, which Casey also pointed me towards some new Rye to try. Fantastic as always!

I had placed an order for oysters but apparently they were forgotten, but I was so enamored with the mushroom dish that I didn't even care. Casey offered them to me on the house as he felt bad, which was a very nice gesture. I wasn't upset at all!

Now we would like to try all the other dishes, because if both meals were that good, how can they miss with anything else?
