“The owner is incredibly personable and is very involved with his restaurant. His staff is very attentive and have excellent customer service skills. I chose a faster made food, the Chicken Kabob (recommended by the owner) and there was nothing that made it feel rushed or made cheap even though the price was amazing for the amount of food that came about 10 mins after ordering. BEST DARN KABOB I'VE EVER HAD IN SEATTLE. I'm sad I didn't try this place out when I lived in the neighborhood 10 yrs ago. I'd be a lot fatter by now...“

Plates are tiny (one tiny pita for 2 people ??) and I’ve had similar creative dishes for less unfortunately. They’re making good food but I think the other variables make it a miss for me, wouldn’t go out of my way to return“

“This was my first time eating at a local restaurant since moving to the CD from Bellevue (good riddance), and I was welcomed with warmth in a super inviting environment — big open windows and adorable outdoor seating. My food did not take very long at all to receive even though (as far as I could tell) there was only one person working. Right before he handed me my food, he said something so unexpectedly kind: that it’s nice to see me here! He handed me a beautifully seasoned (free) falafel on a fork.

It put the biggest smile on my face. I took my food home, I’m eating it right now, and I’m still smiling. The Greek fries are so delightful — they’re really crispy and so fresh compared to other ones I’ve tried. What a great experience! I love this neighborhood so much. ❤“

“Had food for ten recently delivered for my birthday through ezCater. Everything was fantastic. Some of the best Mediterranean food I’ve eaten. We had ordered buffet style food, but now I want to visit their location to try other dishes.

The rice was very unique (in a good way). The beef and chicken meat were perfect. I’m not normally a big fan of hummus (I’ve always preferred Baba Ganoush), but theirs was really tasty!

“I love this food truck! the guy running it is nice and fast, food is delicious, and somehow cheaper than all the other Greek places nearby. The falafel in particular is the best i have had in Seattle. its fresh, moist, and perfectly seasoned! I regularly patron this place for a nice falafel wrap!

A word of warning, there is no seating and it's in the lot of a really run down dry cleaners so it's not exactly a comfy place to linger at night as a woman, but i have had no issues with strangers here and its well lit.“

“The food is delicious . Everything is made with pride . It’s all fresh and made in house . Since it’s fresh and made to order , you will have to wait . It is worth it . I highly recommend the Greek french fries , amazing. Also I would not skip the chai tea or baklava, both so good. Friendly family business that appreciates its customers. The only thing I did not like was not their fault . Customers constantly talking loudly on cell phone , incredibly annoying ringers going off from multiple phones, some very loud voices . It’s a tiny place with close tables so hear everything. It has lovely lighting from beautiful lamps and is nicely decorated. I just wish some of the customers more considerate .“

“Came here on a hot 82 degree day and they had a shaded lounge with air conditioning, running water to wash hands, and reasonably priced food. I didn’t even think I was that hungry but once I had a bite I could not stop it was that good! I am 100% coming back here, what a pleasant experience. You can really tell the owner loves what he does and the ingredients were fresh and flavorful, even uses saffron for the rice! This is one gem of a food truck in Seattle.“

Generously portioned for two, the spread featured an array of fresh, delectable dishes that showcased the chef's skill. Standouts included the cheese pastry and a rich, tomato, cheesy egg stew. However, the true pièce de résistance was the heavenly honey and cream, perfectly paired with crusty bread - a flavor combination that bordered on sublime. My only complaint and the only reason that I didn't give them 5 stars for atmosphere is because it was hot as Hades in there. “Discovered these guys on Yelp, and they really deserve their 5-star reviews! We ordered two of their signature sandwiches: Arabic Chicken Shawarma BUZZ and the lamb & beef version. Both were made fresh, delightfully spiced and marinaded, in a large toasted pita wrap, fantastic taste and so satisfying, highly recommended! The guys are very friendly and helpful. It’s a simple place in a strip with nice decor touches and reasonable prices. Tip: if you like onions, ask for them (they’ve stopped adding them because so many people asked for no onions); they put a nice Arabic spice on them, very tasty. Also they have a nice house spicy sauce that kicks the flavor profile up a few notches, excellent! A great meal all around. You could even save half of the wrap for later for another meal, it’s that big and good.“

“Hummus Cafe is one of those places that just makes you happy.

The food is authentic, fresh, and full of flavor. The Om Ali is perfect, the Mehalabya (rice pudding) is amazing, and the falafel and eggplant sandwich is honestly to die for.

What really stands out, though, is that the food feels like it was made with love. You can taste the love in every bite, and that's something you don't find very often. It's the kind of meal that puts a smile on your face and makes you want to come back.

If you're looking for real Egyptian and Mediterranean food, I can't recommend this place enough.“

Price: most dishes are between 10-15$.
