“got the Gyro Saj Shawarma & Greek Friesthis contained two main things - the sandwich and the greek friesfirst, i thought the sandwich was pretty goodwhile not using pita bread, which is typical for a gyro and usually what i prefer, this place used more of a tortilla for the breading insteadi did think this bread was toasted very well and the overall outside of the wrap was goodas far as the inside, i very much liked the way the ingredients were packed into the wrapwhile it may not look super big, each half of the sandwich was packed really tightly with a lot ofdifferent ingredients - which made it really fillingthis also let the flavors really combine since they were mixed up in close proximity inside the sandwichthe sandwich also scores high in portion size - it really had a lot of meat and overall ingredientsthe meat inside the sandwich was good - not greatwhere this disappointed me a bit was in the greek fries - there wasn't enough white saucethe cheese was decent - but the lack of sauce made the fries not really stick to the cheese that mucha lot of fries were just dryso these were still decent, but i've certainly had a lot betteri did like the crisp on theseSandwich: 8.5/10Greek Fries: 7/10Overall: 8.15/10“
“The food here is delicious and plentiful. Our must haves are the falafel, shish kabob and gyro platter. The hummus and salad (yummy dressing) round out an amazing meal, but there is so much more! I highly recommend ordering from Gorgeous George’s.“
“Our family is so sad that Omega Ouzeri is shuttering its doors after all these years of providing amazing Greek cuisine on Capitol Hill. From El Greco to Vios to Omega Ouzeri, Tomas and his talented staff have always delivered on quality and have made an indelible mark on my family's culinary experiences. We were so lucky to have one last family meal here and like always, it never disappoints! Good luck, Tomas & Rebecca, on your new Greek adventures!“
“Charming restaurant with great food and excellent service. A perfect spot after enjoying a play at the Taproot Theater. Engaging menu, beautifully prepared, wonderful flavors and textures. Our Server, Tristan Kossack, was outstanding. He smoothly and deftly handled service for the whole restaurant, making it all look effortless and welcoming. He helped us put together a family style meal and his suggestions were spot on. It was an wonderful experience.“
“Believe the hype, this place is phenomenal. The lentil soup is out of this world. The mezze plate is bomb. Get any of the chicken dishes - they’re all excellent! Our server Marcos was attentive, friendly… an absolute gem. Couldn’t recommend Petra highly enough.“
“This is honestly the best pasta restaurant. I always get the fettuccine chicken pasta. Comes with a side of huge garlic bread and salad with their homemade feta sauce. The staff is so friendly and sweet. It’s a real mom and pops restaurant. There food has become a comfort food of mine now.“
“We actually had our wedding reception in 2019 at Yannis Greek Restaurant and they were amazing! Such a wonderful family with great classic Greek food. They were kind enough to make my favorite dish of Pastitsio to serve to our family and friends among many more tasty dishes. Highly recommend them ❤️ We will never forget that day. Thank you! The Sattlers“
“BEST friend chicken burger in town! Super juicy giant chicken breast on a toasted sesame bun, garnished with spicy mayo sauce, cheese, onion, lettuce, & pickles. Also they are the only place I have found have Minute Made light lemonade on tap at their soda station and their chocolate milkshakes rock. Nice outside patio for summer & super friendly staff.“
“Food was amazing! Service amazing. First time and I had the best Mediterranean chicken salad I have ever had in seattle. It was made in a way that impressed my so much it is going to be my go-to in Seattle. Its a nice location inside a food court but the neighborhood needs improvement. Won't stop me from visiting again.“
“Don't have a single bad thing to say about the place. Prices are immaculate for the amount of food you receive. Staff is so kind every time and the food tastes like they love you. BEST breakfast I've had since moving from Texas. Blueberry milkshake? ScrumdiblyumptiousBonus: Green salsa is addictive and breakfast sausage patties are my favorite underrated item“
“In an age of ultra modern sleek restaurants, Harry's Bar is a breath of fresh air. It's warm and inviting with naugahyde booths and a wooden interior. A few outdoor tables sit out front under the awning. It's the only place I'll order a coke; they carry Mexican coke (which has cane sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup). I made a meal out of the Hummus Pita platter- comes with three large scoops of tapenade and hummus. Service is always attentive and friendly - as was Nick tonight.“
“The food was spectacular but the conversation was even better. Leo took such good care of us telling us about the pizza, their ingredients, his thought process on how to make a great pizza and even giving us a different pizza to try. I will definitely be coming back the next time I'm in town.“
“Let’s take Medi food for what it’s worth… its taste, its healthiness and its affordability.. Niko’s found the golden 3 as far as I’m concerned. My family and I were the only one ones dining in at 2pm so I believe, naturally, we were given 5 star treatment.Customer service is top notch as the receptionist took care of us pronto. Our food orders (we were 3 adults at that time) came out instantly and we enjoyed the ambiance and music this place had to offer.Parking was a bit challenging as it was only street parking.. Greatly recommend this place!“
“Excellent lamb gyro! I'm used to going to Tarpon Springs, Florida, and seeing the traditional tall spinning verical rotisserie with a cone of beef and lamb cooking. They cut thin slices of meat using a knife, then it's grilled and has crispy edges. Here they are, chunky with crispy edges. I had the beef and lamb with extra meat. My mistake it was way too much meat for me. Personally, I like extra tzatziki sauce and tomatoes, light onions, and lettuce. Also had the Greek salad. I absolutely loved it. I would get extra dressing, feta, and tomatoes. I will definitely return whenever I'm in the Seattle Chinatown-International District. It's close to the Historic Chinatown Gate. Enjoy.“
“Yum yum yum!! Wow this was so flavorful and wonderful. It’s a counter service where you go up and order then they bring you the food. The platters are legit. That rice was so good and the hummus….chefs kiss. I’m just so happy we stumbled upon this place and ate here. Yum! The price given the quantity is fair.“
“My favorite place to get take out for dinner. Lovely small local restaurant with great food. There are so many options in the area but I think the food matches the pricing. The amount of gyro meat I got on my fries was extremely generous. Highly “
“If your looking for a good experience check this place out. Got a nice table view. Service was good. Quiet young man at cashier, but was prompt to help clear our table when exiting to bring our dishes to the front. Food was fantastic. Fries #1. Decent price is what I would expect. Glad I stopped in. Thank you!!“
“Without a doubt, this is the best gyro I've ever had. Tons of meat, fresh vegetables, great sauce. I live 3 hours from Seattle but I try to stop by Mr Gyros every time I come to Seattle to visit my son or watch a game. Only complaint is a lack of seating but I was told this is being addressed. Almost forgot, my wife and I can both eat lunch at Mr Gyros for less than a couple of disgusting value meals at mcdonald's.“
“This is an amazing breakfast spot with some creative options. The staff was friendly and quick to get us served.I would recommend the vanilla latte, it was flavorful and strong.I got the octopus hash which was incredible. There is a lot of layers of flavor, great textures and it was very fresh. I also recommend the maple sausage as a side as that was a nice treat too.I highly recommend Lola for breakfast.“
“We did the 4 PC chicken and small chicken strips and it was delicious. Great flavor of the potato salad and homemade tartar sauce was perfect. It was a lot of food and well worth the drive there from our house. staff was friendly. Smells wonderful inside. We'll be back again for sure.“
“As someone who had been to the old restaurant, seeing it very empty was really surprising. The food was great, i ordered a yeero and some desert and the food was so tasty and authentic, with good flavours of the in house made tsaziki sauce, and the excellent meat used in the yeero! I was also greeted by one of the owners: Gretta, she was so kind and helpful as well as she had a very empathetic attitude towards her work which made me feel extremely welcome and appreciated to be there. Excellent service, great food, great prices.“
“Sneaky (really) good no frills Greek gem in Greenlake.Family-run place with great people and top-notch versions of the Greek classics.I always over order because I can’t resist having at least two of their appetizers. The melitzanasalata (roasted eggplant dip) is my favorite - love the smokey eggplant flavorSolid potions.“
“The food was exactly as I remember having growing up in a thirdgen greek household. The chicken souvlaki gyro was perfectly cooked and seasoned very juicy! I loved the staff's friendliness, quickness on getting our orders, the atmosphere, and also dry goods from Greece that we could buy too! The price was also very affordable and better quality than other places have gone to where they don't even give you veggies and charge more while this place does give you good quality veggies and meat and charges less. 10/10 highly recommend.Vegetarian options: There are salads, pita, hummus, babaganoush, spanakopita, mousaka, baklava, and falafel dishes which are all vegetarian and have some sort of plant protein(nuts, feta, or chickpeas)“
“This might be a bit unfair as the meal in this photo is not on the menu. The wonderful team at Christo’s put this one together for me specifically. A beautifully cooked steak, prawns, butter pasta, and pita! It was amazing. Trying to get it added to the menu as the Anthony Special! Good times, good people!“
“It's a really great place. My wife and I brought our 19 month old. We had a couple of small pizzas and some red wine, all of which were very good. The wine was a nice dry Merlot with great tannins, and there was also Chianti on the menu. The wine was terrific, particularly for a family restaurant. I'd describe the food as "American Italian/Greek pasta and pizza house."Our hostess/waitress was very sweet and comped a dessert for my wife's birthday, and our daughter's food. The ambiance was sophisticated and comfortable, and the place has clearly been remodeled and refurnished fairly recently. We'll definitely go back, and I feel like nice places like this deserve our support.Kid-friendliness: Kind and patient with kids. They even comped our daughter's food.“
“One of the best restaurants around! I've been a regular for years. The Santorini is my favorite pizza: I like to add jalapenos, pineapple, and feta cheese as well. The pastas are fantastic: my favorites are spaghetti with meatballs, fettuccine, and tortellini. The atmosphere is perfect for relaxing with friends or family. I would recommend it to anyone for a great dining experience!“
“I was out for japanese, but took the wrong bus. Saw their sign and had to eat at the place named after a Goddess. Very good food and greek beer, which was smooth. The window was open to enjoy the nice breeze. The price was fair and the food hot. Highly recommend whether you can figure the bus system out or not.“
“I ordered a beef steak yeero and a 6 piece falafel . The yeero was absolutely delicious. I couldn’t get enough of the creamy garlic sauce they added, but I think I was shorted since it only had 3 small pieces of steak. Otherwise, it was phenomenal. The falafel were okay. They looked smaller and flatter than advertised. I think they were slightly overcooked but tzatziki sauce was awesome. Overall this is a cute little stop for a quick lunch. Thank you!“
“I have been to this place a few times and though the food is delicious, there is always at least a twenty to thirty minute wait. If you are on a time crunch and looking for a quick bite I would not necessarily go here. The food is very good though. I recommend the gyro. Fries are pretty bomb too.“
“Hit this location just after opening, so it was quiet, and we were the first people in. The food is really good. We got lamb shawarmas. The garlic sauce with the tehini really stood out with the lamb and everything. The lamb was a bit dry, and the ingredients could have been distributed a bit better. Esthetically, the place could do with something. It seems open but cluttered at the same time. All in all, check this place out. Oh, and on a final note, the ketchup bottles on the table are not ketchup. Ketchup has a white lid. The stuff in the all red bottles is amazing, but if you dont like spicy, you dont want it, haha.“
“I have gone here numerous times, and everytime they are so nice and the food is absolutely amazing. I feel like I am part of their family. So if you want an amazing Gyro and a smiling face this is the place to goVegetarian options: Numerous Mediterranean selections which are all veggies and some bread all of it amazing“
“The lamb shank and kebab was good. It wasn’t spicy but had a smoky flavour. The shawarma bread was kinda brittle. The deserts were amazing though.Kid-friendliness: It’s kid friendly as wellWheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is wheelchair accessible.“
“Great location, great food, great drinks, great company, great history, and great atmosphere. This awesome underground tavern is definitely one to mark off your list of places to visit. Great for readers, history’s buffs and speak easy frequenters. Cheers!“
“The sign and menu says Romano Pizza and Pasta, not Olympia. Good for takeout but don't try to eat in here. I told them at least twice I was ordering for here but they still brought me everything in takeout containers with a paper plate and plastic fork. There was no tap water, you have to buy bottled water. Food on the other hand was good, and unique, especially if you get the Italian/Greek fusion stuff. I got Greek spaghetti and baklava sundae which were both good. Also quite affordable, like $10 for an entree with side salad.“
“Authentic, fresh, delicious!! Gyro house stands out . The meats are always spiced and cooked perfectly. Everything has “ real” spices and authentic flavor. Salads super fresh. Felafel and fries never greasy-cooked perfectly. Best soft, fresh , hot pita. Super garlicky and delicious tzatziki. Clean, bright diner atmosphere. Take away and enjoy it hot. Super find!“
“Just before attending a party at the lounge, we decided to have a quick bite here. This place was in the same lane as ‘The Chapel lounge’. We tried Falafel sandwich and Chicken shawarma. Both were decent. We happened to stop here post party midnight to have hot dogs. My husband and friends LOVED the beef hot dog from the cart just outside this restaurant. If you get a chance, do try their hot dog (just meat) with onions and cream cheese! Hope you all find it delicious too ?Vegetarian options: We tried Falafel sandwich, Vegan hotdog“
“Couldn’t speak higher of Falafelville! Best Greek place on Capitol Hill, you will not be disappointed by anything you get. The owner is so kind and will remember you, the food is consistant and their Greek fries are to die for. You won’t regret becoming a regular here.“
