“Cheerful, prompt service, great food, and a nice view of the Sound from the outdoor seating area, which is kept pleasantly warm in the cold months. The train is RIGHT THERE at times, a little noisy for a few minutes at a time, but no big deal if you're patient. There's a wide variety on the menu, something for all tastes. And the bartender made an exemplary Martini, to boot. Demitri's will be in our regular rotation for a meal out.“

“Wonderful repeat visit to the real deal = huge menu, ample portions, great flavor, wonderful service, with accessible on street parking. They could use some authentic Greek artwork on the walls or even Hellenic music.“

“Kipos Greek catered our wedding on Mercer Island in August and they were fantastic. Dino personally drove everything out from the restaurant, set up the chafing trays, and hauled it all away afterward — full service, no drama, exactly on schedule.

The food was a highlight of the whole day. We did spanakopita and chicken souvlaki for cocktail hour, then a Greek Feast for 80 guests — chicken gyro, bifteki, horiatiki, tzatziki, lemon rice — and our guests are still talking about it. Portions were generous and everything showed up hot and ready for dinner service. He even provided hot sauce bottles which we placed on each guest table that bore our custom celebration sticker.

Dino was also easy to work with throughout planning, allowing us to sample, was fair on price, and clearly cares about doing right by his customers. If you need catering for a big event in the Seattle area — or just great Greek food — go see him.“

“Ordered the chicago style gyro and it was absolutely delicious! Pictures might not do it justice, but there was plenty of meat packed inside the gyro and every bite was warm and full of flavor. Wish there was more meat towards the bottom but I think I got too excited and ate it all towards the top and didn’t leave any for me to enjoy afterwards. Oops! There are other comments about the tzatziki sauce being a little watery. Honestly, I thought it was great. Then again- I haven’t had a gyro in over a decade so I don’t have a point of reference. Anywho, the lady at the front is also super duper kind and attentive. She politely offered me a water cup after I declined a fountain drink. She didn’t have to offer but the way she offered I think definitely deserves a gold star and made me feel very welcome. Definitely plan on coming back and trying other gyros!“

“Excelent place to enjoy this food. I'm from Mexico, we came to vacations, and we love this Gyro Grill, we love Seattle.
The staff was also super friendly, nice, and helped us figure out what we wanted. Since it was our first visit, they also gave us dessert. Their accommodating nature really elevated our dining experience.“
