“Updating my review since the place seems to have changed substantially in the past two years. Dinned-in for lunch and it was fast, tasty and reasonably priced. The quality of the food isn't the best in the area, but it's miles above the experience I had 4 years ago. Way to go!“
“The food here is delicious and plentiful. Our must haves are the falafel, shish kabob and gyro platter. The hummus and salad (yummy dressing) round out an amazing meal, but there is so much more! I highly recommend ordering from Gorgeous George’s.“
“We had the triple hor'deoure for a starter. Taste was unique and wonderful. I had the moussaka as my main. It was unlike any I've had before. Took half home and enjoyed it as much the next day. I finished with their baklava. Once again, it was unique, very moist - a great way to end the dinner.“
“Always Welcoming, a regular from the Hood, I really like the inclusive head nod & smile. I appreciate great service, from utensils & pretty good coffee, Just fussy about my coffee ?. They are consistently good. I think there's even clubs that meet up. About Pricing, not a problem & appropriate ?.“
“This place has me coming back time and time again… if you’ve had gyros from other establishments you know they nickel and dime you… even an additional charge for feta cheese. But not at One Stop Market! In fact it comes with feta cheese that’s delectably melted and mixed with tzatziki and all the veggie fixings and fresh apple slices… it’s so delicious. And if the good food wasn’t enough, it’s a reasonable price too!! No additional fees for CHEESE. And if that’s not enough, you’re greeted by the sweetest woman with a genuine smile and she offers you a chilled beverage if you would like. My gosh, I love this place. If you want a quiet place to eat amazing food and have a crisp bevie after work, come here, you won’t be disappointed.“
“My first time here and the waiter Jeff was AMAZING! Friendly and knowledgeable Jeff maximized our dining experience! My friends ordered gyro and chicken shawarma plates that they loved, and the feta cheese fourno was delicious! The pork souvlaki shawarma was somewhat bland but overall great experience will visit again! THANKS JEFF!!!“
“The food was moderately priced and very tasty. Staff was very friendly, polite and accommodating. We didn’t have to wait long for our food, either. Glad we tried this place!Kid-friendliness: Decent kid’s menu with several customizable options.“
“This tiny restaurant served me a delicious classic gyro plate. The beef and lamb blend was great and their veggies were fresh. The hummus was perfectly smooth and the pita was warm and soft. The plate + fountain drink is $20. I will be back. Very good food.“
“Fine establishment through and through. Went to the food truck, service was excellent, I was simply hungry and didn't know what I wanted so I asked for the young man to just give me whatever he liked best. I got the Souvlaki yeero plate with salad.I worked as a chef for 13 years, but even if I hadn't, it was easy to see these were high quality ingredients, respected, and delicately balanced created from a genuine and fond memory.Don't think twice about choosing Georgia's, and if you see the truck in passing, take the time to make a stop. You won't regret it.“
“i got the Fried Chickenall i have to say is - wow.wowoh my godthat fried chicken was the best fried chicken i’ve had in my life. it’s unbelievable how good that wasthat breading was utterly magical. It was so insanely flaky and crunchy - just the absolute perfect level of each. It had such a satisfying dark brown color rather than the light brown you see on other fried chicken. You could tell this was truly fried in as much oil as possible - which you could also tell by how the breading was even slightly damp with oil and the bottom of the carton was still somewhat wet from the oileach bite of the breading was just absolute perfectionthe inside of the chicken was also astoundingly good - which i wasn’t expecting. the first time I took a bite of the chicken meat itself - i was shocked by how well it tasted. This wasn’t your boring old bland chicken you’d find somewhere else - it had fat to it - and even if the breading didn’t exist I would still really enjoy eating the chickenthe only thing i wish for is the breading had some spice to it - there pretty much wasn’t any of thatmy next absolute favorite part was the buttermilk biscuits that i got as a side. These were baked so perfectly - with a tough exterior but a soft interior. The butter dipping sauce added to this was the best part of the entire meal - it was so addicting it was impossible to resistwhat drags this down slightly, though, is the greek fries. I didn’t think these were good at all - while they were seasoned well with pepper throughout - the cheese was a) not well distributed and b) pretty infrequent. Also, the fries themselves were pretty hard to the touch but not crispy and didn’t have any softness inside. The white sauce didn’t taste very good eitherI will say the buffalo sauce that I added as a side was quite goodWhat puts this meal over the top is the massive portion size. It did cost a good amount (24 dollars) - but 3 of that was the greek fries which I’ll skip next time in favor of a side that doesn’t cost extra. The pieces of fried chicken were MASSIVE - there was so much food contained in that basket. I wasn’t even able to finish this entire meal. Given that you get this much fried chicken + two sides for a decent price, the value here is pretty damn goodoverall, out of this world fried chicken and biscuits, although the greek fries does keep this from the highest possible score. 9.25 / 10“
“Sneaky (really) good no frills Greek gem in Greenlake.Family-run place with great people and top-notch versions of the Greek classics.I always over order because I can’t resist having at least two of their appetizers. The melitzanasalata (roasted eggplant dip) is my favorite - love the smokey eggplant flavorSolid potions.“
“Go here. We had the falafel wrap and the dolma. They both were outstanding. Fresh ingredients and fast, friendly service. We complemented the chef and he gave us a "shaklava" on the house. Looks like baklava with chocolate on top. Ooooooie was it tasty!!! The place was clean, quiet, and inviting.“
“I’ve been to this Greek restaurant many times because you love their chicken and lamb souvlaki. The meat is always tender and juicy, and you find the price and portion sizes good. Recently, I ordered catering for 15 people and they provided plenty of food. The restaurant is very clean for dining in, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking healthy and clean Greek food.“
“One of the best restaurants around! I've been a regular for years. The Santorini is my favorite pizza: I like to add jalapenos, pineapple, and feta cheese as well. The pastas are fantastic: my favorites are spaghetti with meatballs, fettuccine, and tortellini. The atmosphere is perfect for relaxing with friends or family. I would recommend it to anyone for a great dining experience!“
“I love this place! My go-to for falafel & middle eastern food. They actually have tahini sauce with the falafel, which I've really missed in Seattle - other places offer only tzatziki (which Fork also has. Nice guys, accommodate special requests, reasonably priced, quick service. Loud & hot in summer! Small place for eat-in (3 or 4 booths & maybe 4 tables for 2.“
“I’ll admit…I ordered the wrong thing, so that’s my bad!I wanted to try the Grilled Mixed Vegetable Rice Bowl, but I accidentally ordered the Grilled Mixed Vegetable Hummus Bowl…what can I say…it was a long day…Anyway, the food was delivered via Uber Eats, and arrived promptly, was warm, and packaged well! I appreciate that attention to detail because the last thing you want in the middle of a long work day is a mess showing up at the office!I will say that the hummus itself was tasty! I also enjoyed all of the vegetables, except the cauliflower which tasted burnt! The pita was ordered separately, which was unfortunate because it wasn’t enough to accompany the hummus. So, basically there ended up being a lot leftover. I mean that’s fine, but I am not a big fan of the leftovers. I also feel like there should have been more vegetables.Anyway, overall, it was an okay dish! I do want to go back and try something different to see if ordering what I was more in the mood for makes a difference! lol!“
“Hit this location just after opening, so it was quiet, and we were the first people in. The food is really good. We got lamb shawarmas. The garlic sauce with the tehini really stood out with the lamb and everything. The lamb was a bit dry, and the ingredients could have been distributed a bit better. Esthetically, the place could do with something. It seems open but cluttered at the same time. All in all, check this place out. Oh, and on a final note, the ketchup bottles on the table are not ketchup. Ketchup has a white lid. The stuff in the all red bottles is amazing, but if you dont like spicy, you dont want it, haha.“
“Great location, great food, great drinks, great company, great history, and great atmosphere. This awesome underground tavern is definitely one to mark off your list of places to visit. Great for readers, history’s buffs and speak easy frequenters. Cheers!“
“Sunday, we set in the bar and was greeted by Melanie. Her friendly and welcoming smile really made our experience enjoyable. We’d like to thank her for her professional service, including her menu recommendation which was absolutely delicious and appreciated. Looking forward to dinning again thanks to the great service experience.“
