The goat meat with spiced rice (bariis) and tender suqaar are perfectly seasoned and melt-in-your-mouth delicious, paired with fluffy sabaayad flatbread and that fiery green sauce. Generously portioned for two, the spread featured an array of fresh, delectable dishes that showcased the chef's skill. Standouts included the cheese pastry and a rich, tomato, cheesy egg stew. However, the true pièce de résistance was the heavenly honey and cream, perfectly paired with crusty bread - a flavor combination that bordered on sublime. Leaving some for my boyfriend was nothing less than an act of pure love, but we'll certainly return again and again during our short stay in the city.“

“I happened upon this food truck by luck. I had never tried Somalia cuisine before, and was curious First I was greated by friendly smiling faces that made me feel immediately welcomed. They handed me a menu, with pictures, that I could look at without staring at the menu board. I decided on a Sambusa as an appetizer because it looked and sounded like a Samosa. My entree was a Bariis chicken bowl with a side salad. It was fabulous! The Sambusa was shaped like a Samosa, but different. The pastry was delicate like a puff pastry and the filling was simple lean ground beef, served with mild or spicy dipping sauce. The Bariis chicken bowl was flavorful, fresh and full of flavor. Perfectly balanced. I will look for this food truck again.“

“The food is delicious . Everything is made with pride . It’s all fresh and made in house . Since it’s fresh and made to order , you will have to wait . It is worth it . I highly recommend the Greek french fries , amazing. Also I would not skip the chai tea or baklava, both so good. Friendly family business that appreciates its customers. The only thing I did not like was not their fault . Customers constantly talking loudly on cell phone , incredibly annoying ringers going off from multiple phones, some very loud voices . It’s a tiny place with close tables so hear everything. It has lovely lighting from beautiful lamps and is nicely decorated. I just wish some of the customers more considerate .“

“Today was our first time visiting Seattle and we were craving some Indian food. Taste of Indian did NOT disappoint me. The Tikka masala and naan were phenomenal. The service was also amazing. The staff is extremely friendly and very attentive. The atmosphere was also very relaxed and welcoming. I was given a complimentary refill of my reisling and they also give you a little slice of cheesecake at the end of your meal. Whether you are going for a date night or a family meal, this place is a perfect option. If we are ever visiting Seattle again, we will be returning to this spot!“

“Delicious Arab style falafel- super crispy, good balance of ingredients, pita was fresh and the whole thing had the perfect flavor! I accidentally ordered from a different location and showed up here and the man working there was very kind and decided to make my order for me even though it was already ready at the other spot. We tried the sriracha burger, Smash, Bacon Cheddar, chicken wings, and jalapeño poppers—all packed with great flavor—and the fries were perfectly crisp. “The food is ok. Nothing extra ordinary, but its really difficult for me to understand why they add 18% tips by default. Even for group of 4 or just one person for that matter. Price of food really on higher side with minimum quantity. Another thing is you cant split a bill. So on one table they only accept one credit card. This place is not for celebrating with friends for that reason.“

Fryzone is a great late-night spot in Rainier Beach, especially if you’re craving loaded fries. The fries are really good, and they’ve recently added chicken tenders to the menu, which are a solid option too. Highly recommend the mango habanero flavor perfect balance of sweet and spicy.

Everything on the menu is fully halal, which is a big plus. It’s super convenient for takeout, and they’re open late. If you decide to dine in, there’s plenty of seating, even for larger groups. Definitely worth checking out!“
