“We came for a phone repair next door and accidentally found one of the best-value meals of our Seattle day.

We ordered a gyro plate, a gyro, and fries. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and well seasoned, portions were generous, and the space was clean. Even better, we walked out spending around $40 to $45 INCLUDING TIP for the whole meal.

Seattle gets expensive quickly, so finding a casual spot where two people can eat this well without spending a fortune deserves some recognition.

This isn’t a fancy, drawn-out lunch stop. Come hungry, order some shawarma or a gyro, eat extremely well, and keep exploring.

TRAVEL TIP: If you’re getting a phone repaired at A-Solution next door, this is the move while you wait. We stumbled into that combination completely by accident, and I’d recommend doing exactly what we did.“

“I'm mad my friend didn't show me this spot earlier!!! For starters, we had the mezze platter. It came with dolmas (so good!! Perfect marriage of rice and spices!), tzatziki (so fresh! The mint...yum!!), baba ganoush (with a smokey hint), hummus (so fresh!!), tabouli (best ive had in a long time! It was not overwhelming with parsley... super enjoyable. So good we got orders to go!), and the piyaz (a chilled white bean salad with ginger root, onion, tomato, EVOO, and garlic...so good we got orders to go!). Entrees we had the mesopotamian lamb and beef (the stew was so comforting..like a hug. The lamb was so tender!), and the lamb chops (love the rosemary and garlic!) For dessert...freshhhhh baklava, freshest ive had. It had just been made. It was so perfect! It's not so heavy compared to the normal baklava with honey that Im used too. Looks like I have a new favorite Mediterranean spot to go to!!! The staff was great. The food was amazing.“

Plates are tiny (one tiny pita for 2 people ??) and I’ve had similar creative dishes for less unfortunately. “This was my first time eating at a local restaurant since moving to the CD from Bellevue (good riddance), and I was welcomed with warmth in a super inviting environment — big open windows and adorable outdoor seating. My food did not take very long at all to receive even though (as far as I could tell) there was only one person working. Right before he handed me my food, he said something so unexpectedly kind: that it’s nice to see me here! He handed me a beautifully seasoned (free) falafel on a fork.

It put the biggest smile on my face. I took my food home, I’m eating it right now, and I’m still smiling. The Greek fries are so delightful — they’re really crispy and so fresh compared to other ones I’ve tried. What a great experience! I love this neighborhood so much. ❤“

“I love this food truck! the guy running it is nice and fast, food is delicious, and somehow cheaper than all the other Greek places nearby. The falafel in particular is the best i have had in Seattle. its fresh, moist, and perfectly seasoned! I regularly patron this place for a nice falafel wrap!

A word of warning, there is no seating and it's in the lot of a really run down dry cleaners so it's not exactly a comfy place to linger at night as a woman, but i have had no issues with strangers here and its well lit.“

“The food is delicious . Everything is made with pride . It’s all fresh and made in house . Since it’s fresh and made to order , you will have to wait . It is worth it . I highly recommend the Greek french fries , amazing. Also I would not skip the chai tea or baklava, both so good. Friendly family business that appreciates its customers. The only thing I did not like was not their fault . Customers constantly talking loudly on cell phone , incredibly annoying ringers going off from multiple phones, some very loud voices . It’s a tiny place with close tables so hear everything. It has lovely lighting from beautiful lamps and is nicely decorated. I just wish some of the customers more considerate .“

My only complaint and the only reason that I didn't give them 5 stars for atmosphere is because it was hot as Hades in there. The owners were super helpful and helpful- the order was perfect and well-packaged for easy distribution to hungry teenagers. We are a very diverse student group and I have not found another Halal restaurant in the area. I cannot say enough good things about our experience and will order again from Gyros House in Covington.“

“What a magnificent find this was! Impeccable service, Andaluca offers a romantic and elegant ambiance to complement the perfect culinary experience. We started with the soft-ripened Murciana goat cheese and house made preserves, the star of the night was their roasted beets and citrus salad, the Andaluca paella simply delicious and the flavors of the preserved lemon chicken transported us to the Mediterranean! I have to add that the cocktails were also an experience! We all agreed this was by far one of the best meals we’ve had. Highly recommended!“

“It was our first night in Seattle for the both of us so we were just walking and trying to figure out what we wanted to eat that we can’t get back home in NC when we happened to walk past this place. We glanced over the menu posted outside and talked for a second about how empty the place was and how we can get this type of food at home but it looked really good so we decided to try it and BOY WERE WE GLAD WE DID! The guy behind the counter was very friendly and apparently he was a jack of trades! He took our order then went and cooked the food and delivered it to our table too! And it did not take long at all. Maybe 10-15 minutes. I got the lamb shank and my husband got the beef shawarma. And we thoroughly enjoyed every bite of everything on both our plates! The lamb shank was huge, delicious, and fall off the bone! It was served with a cup of lamb broth on the side so I threw a little of the lamb meat and some of the rice in the cup and made myself a sort of stew lamb and rice type cup! He could sell just those by the cup at festivals etc and make a killing! Because it was delicious, hot and something you can eat while you walk around! Then my husband went back and got us some baklava and the Morrocan pastries and they were very delicious as well! We may just have to eat here again before we leave town!“
