“On a quiet Wednesday night, the atmosphere at this pub transported me to Ireland with its charming decor and lively music. Despite being short-staffed, the bartender was fantastic-friendly and helpful. Although the kitchen was closed, I enjoyed a delicious draft cider. A pleasant experience overall, and I appreciated the welcoming ambiance.“
“Quintessential pub with a cozy pub with a lm amazing pint of Guinness and a lovely staff. The only caveat is the men's bathroom needs a serious fumigation but the pub proper is excellent.Thank you for a nice evening.Parking: Just on street. Variable, based on the evening traffic and local drivers but there's space.“
“Living in the area, I've passed by this bar countless times but never had the opportunity to visit until St. Patty's Day. I finally decided to give it a try, and it was a blast! They featured live music, tap, and sean nós dancing, along with outdoor seating arrangements. Despite the busy day, the service was exceptional and attentive. A fantastic neighborhood bar indeed!“
“Jessica is a gem. She took great care of us. The wings were terrific, the tots were crispy & the Lamb Sliders were a lovely surprise! Yum! Prices are spot on and the lively clientele make for “interesting” conversations! We’ll return for sure!“
“I haven’t been here since precovid, so it felt like a new place to for me. Stopped by while my kids were at a concert. I get anxious walking in alone to new places, but was immediately greeted warmly twice. The bartender was easy to chat with, the regulars were easy to chat with. I really enjoyed myself. I’ll be back to try the dinner menu soon. I had ordered fries-which were hot and delicious, and 2 Manny’s. It was a pleasant evening. Highly recommend“
“I love this place....very small irish bar. The food is not fancy which is to my liking....but the fish and chips Fish were melt in my mouth and the beef stew was hot and great. The stage here for the band is tiny....about 4 people comfortable, 5 people a little more smoothed. Because it is a small more intimate entertainment space, it doesn't need to be ear blistering and it wasn't....thank you sound man! We came to hear an Irish themed band The Blarneytones) but the lead singer was sick. Next month the Scuppermonkies will be here!! Love that fun Irish themed band .Parking: The Owl n Thistle doesn't have its own parking. Count on searching for a place and walking 1-3 bocks.“
“Atmosphere is great! I’ve been to the Kell’s in Portland many times, Kell’s in Seattle was fantastic also. A fun little neighborhood. And the live music is always a bonus! Drinks are fast and well prepared. Staff was courteous and friendly.“
“10/10 experience. On Sunday they have wings that are $1 per wing. Great service and great atmosphere! A very chill vibe to come to on a Sunday afternoon. Wings were perfectly seasoned and the service was quick. Check this place out if you are in the area !“
“I don't know why people leave so weak reviews. Food was amazing. Huge portions of clams and so much more. I don't remember what else we ate. Drank sone margarita's and icecream float. But I just spent 30 min searching for the place because if food. Great prices too“
“It was a very nice sports bar! Was visiting from Oklahoma and they put on the Bedlam game for us even though there were only two of us!The bartenders were super cool and approachable, and they looked like they have regulars which is always a good sign. Finally, the food is better than just typical bar food. Had the crab dip and it was phenomenal. 10/10 would visit again!“
“I love this place. They do a lot to support our extremely tallented local music scene. Open mic nights are on Sundays- and the best artists are picked to play a "Sheldon's showcase." It's a great way for young artists, or established artists who are new in town to get a booking. And you get to see some really incredible emerging bands in a small, intimate venue.I don't drink (but still hang out here because it's awesome) but my friends say they pour strong drinks and the staff are all really friendly and laid back. The atmosphere is great- tall dark wood booths, brick and plenty of seating with a view of the stage.Check it out if you love live music. It's a cool spot.“
