Very cool experience at Maneki.Enjoyed that they had more traditional Japanese beers.The food was all good and definitely the most adventurous Japanese menu I’ve seen in Seattle.Great place to try if you are tired of the same menu you can find at 20 other Japanese restaurants.
Great place - exceeded my expectations. Only problem was that the waiter had a runny nose, we saw him wipe and nose and go about setting up our table. He touched our utensils and napkin with that hand. Hopefully this is not the norm.

Cozy japanese restaurant! This place was a great meal with some great traditional atmosphere. I got the Variety Ozen for myself and the ika maru-yaki & the black cod collar miso to share.All were really good, but my favorite was the black cod collar miso. The texture was very soft and flaky and the flavor was on point.
