“Superb! Had the Bristol bay sockeye melt! Deli folks smoothly & accurately described the makings. I said let's do it standard. Was NOT Disappointed. Recommend them for salmon melt. They know their product well too. Great little shop held me over for a while, stuck locked out of my truck on way to work. Couldn't get stuck on a cooler location!“

“BahnMi sandwiches are some of the best sandwiches you can get around! $6.75 for the pork belly or Pork belly and meatloaf. I usually get a cold iced coffee, a sandwich and a couple of the pork egg rolls (egg rolls are $0.75 each). I also love the deep fried bananas. They also do fruit smoothies and boba drinks.“

“I picked up a half pound of roast pork and was pleasantly surprised at how meaty and delicious the pieces were, something I've never gotten from the bbq places in the ID (most are at least 70% fat, if not 90%).
I've had the roast duck banh mi and the pork/egg/avocado banh mi too, and both were great.“

“I LOVE THEIR FOOD! Best ranch I’ve had in Seattle — seriously. Super fresh cut veggies, huge salads, tasty hot breakfast sandwiches and all the convenience store faves. Please check it out and def buy your breakfast here rather than the espresso spot next door! Just sayin!“

“The staff provided the best service to me! An employee who worked on the evening of October 4, 24! I'm sorry I didn't ask your name, but you probably don't know that we, Koreans, have had the best dinner in Seattle. They even provided hot water, which not even hotels provide, so I enjoyed cup ramen and fruit in a cup. You always showed me kindness with a bright smile, which warmed my heart during my boring trip to Seattle. The variety of drinks in the store was enough to satisfy my curiosity. I hope that my younger sister, who is studying in Korea, will be treated with the same kindness as you.“

“Affordable, clean, convenient & delicious.I seldom write reviews for places but this one really hit. The place is everything I want in a deli. Not only was the garden burger & fries made fresh to order but I could see it was made with intention & care + it was all brought out in compostable packaging. I am looking forward to becoming a regular and trying out the whole menu“

“TOP SECRET SOFT SERVE ICE CREAM: You would never know that this little deli/convenience store tucked away in the Central District sells delicious soft serve ice cream in the summertime. These are your standard, no-fuss soft serve, and I love them. Creamy and light texture, not overly sweet, and no hefty outrageous prices. I think they cost $4/cone. The size in the photo is a small which is plenty big enough for me.
I'm a bit of a soft serve junkie, and some of the places I've been to recently include Indigo Cow, The Pastry Project, MOTO Pizza, and Temple Pastries' new ice cream and sandwich shop (that opened on July 5, 2024) and had some of their strawberry sumac vegan soft serve. Out of all of them, I think King's Deli has the best b/c it's simple and unfussy. And the price can't be beat. The atmosphere is nothing special but that's OK by me.
One caveat, be sure to call them before you go just to make sure the soft serve machine is ON. Sometimes when I've stopped by they haven't turned the machine on yet, and I have to come back though in the summertime, it's usually on all the time.
It's a hot tip secret and I aim to change that ?
Kid-friendliness: Kids (& adults!) love soft serve ice cream!“

“We love tower 12 deli! We live across the street and frequent this shop often for their phenomenal breakfast sandwiches and delicious deli sandwiches. They also have a great selection of pantry basics, wine beer and sake, and emergency hardware supplies.
I have always experienced great customer service... the few people complaining seem to forget they are in a downtown bodega and not a michelin restaurant.“

“This place freaking rocks. Their sandwiches are incredible. Specifically the Hilltop Special on sourdough & toasted, OMG. One of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had in my entire life. This place is a hidden gem - seems like just a convenience store but then they make these incredible sandwiches that are straight up a 10/10. I’m so happy for anyone who knows about this place cus what a freaking delight. You can get it to go or they have little spaces with a high top bar area & tables to eat. It’s totally the feels of a convenience store but just incredible. Also the people are so friendly & just overall well above average place to grab a sandwich & couldn’t recommend more!!!“

“I think service would be a lot better if they weren’t playing around on their phones all the time… I just walk out I don’t even even make like a call for a scarf or anything. I have literally left stuff on the counter and they didn’t even notice me… I sit right outside my truck and just watch him look at it like where did this come from? Timmy, it’s funny just watching him care more about their Facebook or TikTok and making money. I’m scared for that business.“

“I adore this place: it's got a "mom & pop" atmosphere, nestled in a thriving modern building just blocks from Seattle Center and Climate Pledge Arena. I'm from a small town, and Metropolitan Deli and Café is as inviting and friendly as the family-owned places I frequented as a child. I tried a BLT; the sandwich was made to order on delicious, toasted sourdough bread. I didn't wait long and the service was hospitable in a genuine way.“

“This place is so amazing! Alone because Tiffany is so cute that it makes waiting for food so pleasant that you feel at home even though you are standing in the store lol
We ordered pierogi with cheese and potatoes which in my opinion was even better than my mom's ups and pastrami sandwich soooooo delicious! I also did some shopping for home because we don't have a store in central California :( The first store is 4 hours away from us in LA.
In general this little store had everything you need and we recommend it to everyone to come here“
