“Cakes Of Paradise has delivered the community with such delicious cakes and treats for years. I love their fruity cakes, rainbow, guava, passionfruit are my favorites!! Rainbow is probably the most favorite, since it has a taste of them all and more. They're spongy, moist and so flavorful. I know some people love their dobash cake, which isn't my favorite but I also don't rave over chocolate cakes. If so it's gotta be rich for my liking. BUT the cakes I do like are rich in fruity-ness and check all my boxes. Whether it's for a birthday, baby shower, wedding, or even a Tuesday night their cakes and treats are so delicious. A little pricey but well worth the creativity and craftsmanship! I'll have to try more than their cakes and donuts one day. They also have pies and more goodies. I like that the place is bright, smells great and has a little seating area as well. It's welcomes you to eat your goodies while there, but away from the line to check out. More recently I've picked up slices to go, and service was professional and quick! If you haven't tried, it's worth the visit!“
“We were initially drawn by the artistry of Carla’s design and exquisite sugar flowers, but the flavor and texture of the cakes sealed the deal for us. We tasted a wide range of innovative flavor combinations, and easily found something that we both loved. She was also able to accommodate dietary restrictions – making a small gluten-free, dairy-free cake to go along with the primary cake. She worked with us to keep us on budget and delivered a stunning and delicious cake. We kept the top for ourselves and enjoyed it during our honeymoon and we fully intend to order a small cake to celebrate our anniversary!“
“Classic hong kong pastry shop They have whole cakes and cake slices ready for purchase day of, but I've also ordered customized cakes from them. The value for what you get is great, especially their breads. For more money you can get similar items from 85 degrees or tous les jours, but they're way smaller than the ones here. I thought the breads were soft and fluffy, the crunchy top on both were good too. The cake is a standard asian cake, not too sweet and light. Excited to come back and try their other items!“
“I had our wedding cake made for us at Morfey's Cake, and we were extremely pleased by the experience and result! They're a busy business, so we did give Morfey's ample time when booking our tasting and reserving the cake, and it all went smoothly! We called ahead and made the cake tasting appointment in advance, and had a fun time tasking cake samples (with coffee!) with Erin, and going over designs. We'd looked at Morfey's website and Instagram beforehand so had a good sense of what we wanted. We decided to buy our own cake toppers, but had Morfey's make the sugar flowers for us. Because we were getting married in Seattle and our cake was relatively small, we elected to pick up the cake ourselves and deliver it to save on the delivery fee. Made the reservation, the cake was ready on time, and it was well packaged for travel (it was defintely a 2 person job, even with our smaller cake, so bring someone if you decide to deliver it yourself). And wow, we were overjoyed by how beautiful the cake looked! It impressed our guests and was a beautiful decoration on the day of the wedding. And it tasted so good! It was delicious, flavorful, moist - some of the best cake I've had! We loved it! We're definitely going to use Morfey's for special occasion cakes in the future! Thanks Erin for making our wedding day that much more special!“
“Omg was introduced to this bakery a few months ago when a friend stopped by with their pandan and young coconut cake. Haven't stopped thinking about it since. We ordered a 10" for Christmas and it was as delicious as I remember. Best cake ever. Inside is so lovely and smells amazing according to my husband who picked up the cake. Will definitely be my request for all the birthdays and special occasions in the future.“
“Wonderful cake shop- has me looking forward to my next visit. We had the banana cake with banana pudding in the layers, and the chocolate malt cake. We loved both, but the banana one maybe a tad bit more! The cake slices are generous and around $10 each. The space is clean and inviting, if not a bit basic, but that's the aesthetic of Georgetown in general I think. Will be back!“
