“I had our wedding cake made for us at Morfey's Cake, and we were extremely pleased by the experience and result! They're a busy business, so we did give Morfey's ample time when booking our tasting and reserving the cake, and it all went smoothly! We called ahead and made the cake tasting appointment in advance, and had a fun time tasking cake samples (with coffee!) with Erin, and going over designs. We'd looked at Morfey's website and Instagram beforehand so had a good sense of what we wanted. We decided to buy our own cake toppers, but had Morfey's make the sugar flowers for us. Because we were getting married in Seattle and our cake was relatively small, we elected to pick up the cake ourselves and deliver it to save on the delivery fee. Made the reservation, the cake was ready on time, and it was well packaged for travel (it was defintely a 2 person job, even with our smaller cake, so bring someone if you decide to deliver it yourself). And wow, we were overjoyed by how beautiful the cake looked! It impressed our guests and was a beautiful decoration on the day of the wedding. And it tasted so good! It was delicious, flavorful, moist - some of the best cake I've had! We loved it! We're definitely going to use Morfey's for special occasion cakes in the future! “I placed an order for a surprise party for my boss at work. She loves unicorns and has been really in need of knowing how much we value her, so some gorgeous birthday treats from trophy to share with the office seemed like the perfect little surprise. I ordered them to be delivered and trophy allows for you to choose a specific delivery window for an extra $35, so I chose 10am-12pm. Unfortunately noon passed and they did not arrive. Apparently whoever took my order did not confirm it, so even though i paid no order was placed internally" I was very upset and was short with the person I spoke with on the phone, but even through my rudeness they were so kind and ready to help. I have been in this kind of situation before and expected just an "oops nothing we can do" but their response could not have been further from this. Trophy dropped everything and got my order together and got it delivered by 230, just before my boss left for the day. I got unicorn cupcakes, the perfect party platter and the life of the party cupcake and it was all beautiful and not a speck out of place. I rarely leave reviews but I was so impressed with how this situation was handled. Any business run by humans will make mistakes, but what matters in my eyes is how mistakes are handled and this was absolutely handled just as beautifully as the delightful birthday treats I ordered. Your care for customers and the understanding that your products are centered on days that are special for people truly means a lot to me and we will be ordering for office birthdays in the future 110%“
“Cupcake Royale is a cute little cupcake store in Madrona. The cupcakes are so good. I had the lemon drop. Each bite was a burst of lemony deliciousness. They come in a cute little box if you decide to take them out of the store. The store itself is clean. Staff is nice. “My first time coming here with my daughter and her first time being in Seattle. Definitely an experience and this place is just soo cute... another sweet tooth hidden gem right by the public market. The ice cream i had was truffle chocolate ice cream and my daughter had the red velvet.. they both were delicious. Can't wait to come back for more treaty desserts.“
“Wonderful cake shop- has me looking forward to my next visit. We had the banana cake with banana pudding in the layers, and the chocolate malt cake. We loved both, but the banana one maybe a tad bit more! The cake slices are generous and around $10 each. The space is clean and inviting, if not a bit basic, but that's the aesthetic of Georgetown in general I think. Will be back!“
