“This location is small and the wait will probably be long but trust me, it'll be well worth it. The food is amazing, the atmosphere is great and the service is friendly/knowledgeable. I had THE BEST whole dugneness crab here. They serve it with their House OMG Sauce and yes, it lives up to its name!“
“Chris made our night memorable! Went above and beyond. Oysters were fresh amd yummy. Scallops and steaks cooked perfect. Sides were good flavor.Received excellent service with additional dessert and drinks. Would highly recommend a stop at this historical labdmark location!“
“Hidden gem. They are known for their oysters. I think they are hard to find...below the Post Alley (there are stairs) or you can enter from the shopping area by Starbucks. FANTASTIC oysters and steamed mussels (in garlic broth). They have the HOT horseradish, which I appreciate. The mussels come with two slides of their delicious bread to dip in the broth. There are tables, booths, and seating in the bar area. On "nice" days, they also offer outdoor seating. They offer five beers on tap and 7 beers in bottle. A few wines available.“
“My wife and I came to this restaurant looking for a 'fancy' place to celebrate our 5th year anniversary, and boy, did we choose right! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed by all of the staff and that us being there mattered to them. Upon finding out that we were celebrating our anniversary, they offered us complementary champagne to celebrate. Our table staff was very kind. We had Ja'Kaylyn and Pete, and the manager Brett came by and checked on us. I believe Jk was in training and did an exquisite job of making sure we were well taken care of. During our meal, knowing that we were celebrating, they allowed us the opportunity to move away from the loud tables next to us. For dinner, we had the crab rolls as an appetizer, with the 12oz wagyu new york and grilled bone-in trout with additional scallops as our entres. The sides were rainbow potatoes, and I also got the Brussels sprouts as well. Everything was cooked to perfection and had delicious flavor. For dessert, we had the teramasou cake and ice cream. This was my least favorite part of the meal as it was frozen like an ice cream cake. I just wasn't expecting that, but it also had wonderful flavor. Overall, we would rate this 10/10. If you are going to celebrate something special of just looking for a lovely night out, we would recommend this restaurant full heartly. We will visit again soon.“
“This is a really nice place that offers high quality plates. I would recommend to order the toro nigiris or sashimi, it was my personal favorite. If you are going with a big group, you can order several plates of sushi to the center, considering the dinner plates are quite big. I tried the Mahi Mahi, as it is a dish, I have not tried before and it was Amazing, but since it is served on top or rice, i wouldn’t have it with sushi.“
“Great Service! Was welcomed immediately by bartender Dawn. Very charming and excellent explaining oyster selections. She kept on top of my orders. The happy hour choice of oyster was beyond what I expected! Big, ytasty. I’m a very picky oyster-ess! St. Louis, Mo. is not known for seafood AT ALL. Expensive and just “blah.” Definitely coming back and recommending to oyster loving friends!“
