“Delicious Pizza!! They grabbed me with the deep dish style pizza. i started following their Instagram so i could see what was going on. over the last few years i would order a pizza from them when in the area… a few special trips just because. Now just recently I started seeing Tavern Style pizza show up on the instagram. Started with photos from other places and then Windy City pie puts tavern on their menu! i wanted to try it since it became available and finally decided to make it part of my pre game for a saturday Mariners game. if thin crisp crust is not your thing then stick with the deep dish! it continues to amaze! If you like the thin crisp pizza try the tavern. it is not just any pizza it is special. the crust is thin uniform and crisp through out the pizza. the toppings are high quality and the sauce is something out of this world! I ate about half and took the rest home to share with my wife. thought i would be able to share our reheat but it didn’t get past the cold pizza phase… this has to be the very best cold pizza i can remember! So good we didn’t take the time to heat back up we just downed it! Check them out! really great pizza on 2 ends of the pizza spectrum!“

“This is a tiny neighborhood gem hidden away (in plain sight!) on the corner of 5th and Market in Ballard. Be not afraid! Go inside! Experience the staff that makes you feel like they are your fun brothers and sisters. Prices may seem high, but the portions are generous and we took leftovers home. You can definitely share a salad. Get there for happy hour: half price wine pours and $3 oysters. Ask to sit in the room that has a floor made of pennies, or in the secret garden — it has heaters and a fire pit if it’s cold!“

“My first time being here and, Had a great time at Rooftop Brewing Company inside of the Jolly Roger Taproom! 🍻 I’ve tried a flight of the Old Seattle Lager 5%, La Azotea Mexican Lager 4.5%, Fresh Hop Amarillo IPA 6%, Tropical Staycation Hazy IPA 6.9%, and the Imperial IPA 7.5%.

My personal favorites are definitely the Old Seattle Lager and La Azotea Mexican Lager — both were refreshing, smooth, and easy to drink. I love getting to try the different styles they have available, and there’s a great variety depending on what you’re in the mood for.

“What a great surprise, did not know this was an actual diner. I always saw people outside late evenings so assumed it was a bar. But Google searched breakfast diners nearby and this popped up. Its got a super cute intergalactic theme, staff is attentive friendly and informative, great menu variety and ample portions. Absolutely loved their chicken strips, its got a nice peppery taste, crisp crunchy hash browns, omg the French toast was fire. I am definitely coming back, this spot is a hidden gem! “I have come here a handful of times with my partner and I love it! I don't think I have ever had a bad dish here. I try to order something different each time but there is so much to choose from! And so far my favorite is the basil stir fry and the eggplant basil stir fry. The portions are generous for the price. I like to order 2 or 3 dishes and then take the leftovers. They last me a few days afterward! The staff is very friendly and I enjoy my conversations with them. All in all, a great place. If I lived closer, I'd probably come here several times a week.“
