“We had an amazing dinner at a specialty pizza restaurant in Seattle named Sunny Hill. It’s a little hole in the wall that has the best Pizza and appetizers in Washington. If you’re ever in the area, make sure to check it out. It was so good to be with the family and finish up some details for today’s big event.“

“As a meat lover, I really liked the veggie burgers here. I'd absolutely come again for more 10/10. First time a vegan burger has given me cravings.

“I can highly recommend the pig feast! The food was all very tasty and there was plenty of it, you could not leave without a full belly if you tried. There were community seating options as well as bar and the usual small table. I met some neat folks and had a good chat.

This is not a downside but it's worth noting that the event started at 7 but the food was not served until 7:50. Maybe that is by design, to give people a chance to sit down and have a drink and chat a bit. If I had been a solo diner or on a time schedule I would have been peeved, The food was self-serve, which is great, although when it came to the pig that meant working your way around the bones. It might be wise to use a de-boned pig next time, although if that ruins the 'whole suckling pig' theme then leave it as is.

I hear they also do a salmon feast and something around Thanksgiving, so I'm sure I will be back!“

“There are places that claim to make good sandwiches. Valhalla makes great sandwiches. I have had two competitors sandwiches this week and I was so disappointed. Valhalla puts out a product that’s swings way above its price point. They put “gourmet” in gourmet sandwiches.“

“I had an amazing sandwich from Yaygit. It was a couple months ago, but I still remember my visit fondly. I had a great chat with the owner (who made me the amazing sandwich!), and bought some of their dandelion chai powder to bring home with me. The sandwich was huge, full of tempeh, veggies, pink onions, and scrumptious bread. The dandelion chai is delightful, especially for cardamom lovers, it is spicy and rich. I love to have it with a creamy oat or cashew milk with a touch of sweetener. Yaygit feels comfortable when you walk in, and the people are very welcoming, I highly recommend you visit them soon!“

“We ordered a vegan raspberry vanilla 6-inch cake for my fiancé’s birthday, and it was a total hit. Vegan cakes can be hit or miss, but this one was both delicious and beautifully made.

The owner was very responsive, and arranging everything was easy from start to finish, starting with instructions on the website. There was no issue at all with a Friday morning pickup for a Monday order (which I thought might be too quick a pickup turnaround, but she said anything over 48 hours notice works), and pickup itself was smooth and simple. This place has a great happy hour food menu, and a party of four can be satisfied by ordering from the menu and enjoying a couple of drinks. It says taproom as they have a great selection of beverages, but if you are the type that wants to also eat something that isn't chicken tenders and fries... the Trailbend Taproom might land on your rotation soon.“

“I get my Little Ting's food from their Greenwood location. I've ordered from Little Ting's twice, and both times I've been very satisfied with the food I got! The potstickers and buns (northern-style dumplings) are delicious--I particularly like the pork and Napa cabbage potstickers. They send small containers of chili oil and soy sauce to use on the dumplings, and this is a great addition! If you're a vegetarian, there are veggie options for the dumplings (don't know if it's vegan but it's definitely vegetarian). It's wonderful to have an authentic dumpling shop in the neighborhood!
