“This place is so good! The staff are very friendly and the food is delicious. I tried the beef and butternut squash empanadas and they were both so flavorful especially paired with the chimichurri sauce! Will definitely be a returning customer.“
“The barista made me a half sweet mocha, and he stated he added some additional cocoa to it so that it had rich flavor without being too sweet. It was perfect!! The best mocha I’ve ever had! This shop is cozy, has fantastic customer service, and makes great coffee. I will definitely be returning!“
“So...where shall I start...especially when I'm 4 Guinness nitro and 1 house ale in. Had their salmon chowder and their special of grilled swordfish...AMAZING...and that's not the beers talking. Food and atmosphere is PERFECT! if you're ever in the Kingston area and you just get off the ferry...YOU MUST STOP HERE. Besides...you just got here and it's close by. The people here are top notch nice beyond words and the food quality, taste, presentation (if that's a thing at an alehouse) is astounding! DON'T FORGET ABOUT THE DESSERT!!!“
“I do fish and chips everywhere. This was 3pc w extra tarter. Mm-mm good smell, excellent tarter and the shoestring fries were perfect. The panco Batter was crispy and the fish was thin cut yet firm enough to dip, in a word: EXCELLENT. The Cole slaw or cold slaw was spectacularly delicious with an unusual hint of sesame, a real treat. Prices were commensurate with the high quality.“
“It's a charming little walk up with very friendly people running the place. Steps away from the ferry. Nice little park across the street with plenty of sidewalk seating. I got the ham and cheese. Wifey got egg and cheese. My eyes were bigger than my stomach. So I ordered a mediterranean and a banana for us. We couldn't finish. I made sure to exploit the entirety of the ham and cheese.Vegetarian options: Everybody working this very receptive to dietary restrictions. So yeah, I think you're safe. As long as you're ovo lacto you have nothing to worry about.“
“If you want an amazing Sandwich in Seattle, it's hard to beat Mean Sandwich. High quality ingredients, delicious and inventive flavors, and a focus on making the food damn good. The vibes are great and the staff are friendly, creating an incredible hole in the wall. It's one of my favorite places to grab a beer, hangout, and eat some delicious food. Can't recommend enough!“
“Food is really good, well-priced, and plentiful. It's far enough away from Market to have plenty of parking around. It was cold but they had a couple of nice heaters to sit under - they could use a few more probably. Strongly recommend!“
“We popped by on a Sunday afternoon and had a lovely little lunch! The Detroit square pizza was so toasty, cheesey and had the perfect pepperonis on top. The only thing that topped it was the friendly and attentive service. I can't wait for summer so we can drink spritzes on their patio!“
“$20 flights are just stupid.. $5 per 5oz makes zero sense whatsoever when 16oz is $8. Like I just wanted to sample a few flavors and then buy a pint of the one I like.. why do i have to feel like an absolute idiot to do so. Ciders were fine and great they allow kids and dogs.“
“We visit Edmonds yearly and La Casa De Amigos is always our first meal. Authentic Honduran food made with fresh ingredients can’t be beat! The menu offers a variety of traditional foods but my favorite is the enchiladas ?. I love the pickled veggies that adds a nice acidic crunch. They created a homey little nook where you can enjoy your food and drinks which is so perfect. We love supporting family owned small businesses and this is definitely one of our favs. My mouth is watering writing this review hehe HIGHLY recommend!“
“Took my fiance here with my mother for my fiance's birthday. It also happened to be Easter ?. The staff was still operating at top notch although other places were straight up closed. Glad we walked it.We ordered the seared octopus which was according to my mother who is an octopus fanatic some of the best she's ever had ??..., the scallops which were my favorite (5⭐)... and the spicy steam clams which my fiance adored (delicious green curry base). Over all amazing experiences for grabbing some cocktails and a small bite with friends or family. Come show this place some love so it can stick around ?“
“If you want something good and quick for dinner - this is the place! I've been here twice now and will keep coming back. I've gotten pizza and now the beef/lamb gyro and both are just delicious. The pizza has a really good wood-fired crust and the right ratio of toppings. Its better than some off the other local pizza joints... The gyro is super flavorful and the portion is real generous. And the French fries are just as good as the other things. I'll be back :)“
“On a Friday night, arrived around 5:30 in the place was packed. My friends had chosen seats at the bar. Nice ambiance, warm lights and tables surrounded by evidence of brewing or made of large barrels. One of the best features of this place is the ability to taste everything on tap: a best practice bc the brews really deserve to be tasted. Related: something to appreciate here is that many of their brews are served in wineglasses...and understandably so. Some of them have extraordinary bouquets that deserve to be sniffed; some emerge as complex as any wine. My wine-loving girlfriends were truly pleased with glass after glass, so much so that we stayed until close to closing, and took home more than half a dozen bottles to share.Unexpected surprise was how good some of the kombucha served was. It comes in a can. Highly recommend the mango hops. Truly well balanced. Incredibly delicious and smooth to drink, reminiscent of how smooth some of the finest black teas can be. (Okay, hibiscus ginger was too vinegary, and made for an uninteresting kombucha -- in the land of homebrewed kombuchas where every neighborhood has that brewer who has scobies to share if you want to take up making kombucha. Perhaps it was just an over done batch.)Food is available by stepping through the doors and ordering at the Cleaver. One of my friends that apparently ordered the last burger and raved. The guy who sat next to me said he came for the burgers and was bummed to miss out bc they were sold out. Most things are smoked. Or roasted. I ordered the potato wedges with some excitement bc I like smoked and roasted...but if I'm honest, these were not my favorite: they came out cold, rubbery, and tough skinned. And I really wanted to like them. The sauce they were swimming in was good though. Will just try something else next time. Great service.“
“One of my favorite coffee shops in north Seattle. Super friendly staff, yummy and well-prepared drinks, delicious pastries and ready to go eats (don’t skip on the farmers pocket if they have it - a savory pop tart from salmonberry) and a good amount of seating, though it’s always busy when I go and can be tricky to grab a spot for a group.“
“First time trying and OMG sooo good!!! Inside is kinda small but open seating that like opens it up so it doesn't seem as small. I had the spicy chicken sandwich combo with the like first notch of spicy and it was just right!! Chicken is juicy and huge piece on my sandwich. Fries were excellent. Definitely going here again. Must try if you haven't!“
“Killer bread and pastries and absolutely delicious pastries and sweet treats. This is clearly a huge neighborhood favorite so get there early to stand in line. The super friendly service more than makes up for the wait. Not a ton of space to sit inside without being bumped into, but there are a couple of outdoor seating options.“
“Wonderfully creative food that didn't feel overly pretentious and filled us up. The Staff was informative and friendly, taking times to explain and recommend dishes without being asked; If this was located downtown it would be twice the price and still worth it.“
“My coworker and I just moved into a new office space nearby and we walked over for a couple of breakfast sandwiches to-go this morning. It cannot be overstated that the folks behind the counter are friendly, attentive and warm. Our sandwiches were wonderfully prepared and wrapped with care. We were both raving about the food before we even tasted it because it smelled so good and it was packaged so nicely. They knocked it out of the park -- perfectly cooked bacon egg and cheese on a perfectly toasted english muffin. Just a wonderful experience. Can't wait for my next breakfast at Blue Heron :)“
“My mid day study session was in need of a beer, and I'm glad I chose Stoup! Their wifi reaches the upstairs 21+ seating area which was perfect for me.Pretty IPA-heavy selection, but that's pretty expected for most breweries. They still have a couple lighter beers and some sours, as well as canned cider and wine available.“
“The food was great! The ordering process and layout is a little confused, need more direction sign for people standing around and wonder~All are packed as take out, sit at the outdoor covered seating area, with the paper bag all became trash just for 5 seconds use, seems not so sustainable. Maybe they can have the handbag on the side and customer can take if needed.“
“Skål Beer Hall provides the atmosphere it markets: a Nordic, viking-esque aura mixed with the chill vibe of a bar. The decorations, wooden architecture, and dim lighting invokes a feeling of relaxation after a long day of hunting.Food at Skål was decent -- there is little variety, but certainly a few unique dishes to try. Specifically the venison and pork belly skewers are a must. It took just one bite to taste the abundance of flavor.Drink choices are solid as well; the blonde ale I had tasted fine. Prices are a little high, but in line with Ballard expectations. One unique note are the various Viking-themed board games available to play. There is a large collection to select from, and provide great entertainment for a party intending on drinking and chatting out into the night.Overall, I recommend Skål Beer Hall as a great place for gathering in general, and even more so for (Nordic)themed ones.“
“Awesome, chill brewery with a great selection of sours and interesting flavor combos! I really liked the Pineapple Passionfruit Lemonade Sour and my friends enjoyed their IPAs. Plenty of seating both indoors and out, as well as the usual brewery amusements like board games and merch for sale.“
“A consistently good, but rarely exceptional brewery. Perhaps my expectations are too high due to the history, head brewer, etc for this brewery, but I was expecting some truly fantastic IPAs. While all of the IPAs on tap were definitely above average, nothing blew us away in the way we hoped. Cloudburst definitely knows what they are doing, though. I expect them to be a pillar of Seattle brewing for the foreseeable future. Staff was fine, but not particularly friendly or knowledgeable. While we went in the middle of winter, it was approximately the same temperature inside as it was outside as well. There are a few kinks to work out as far as service goes.“
“Check my last name. This is genuinely one of the better Mexican restaurants in Seattle. The tortillas involved in all foods--the chips, the tacos, the enchiladas--were amazing. The tacos were especially delicious with juicy and tender meat. The enchiladas con mole was good too but I wish I had only gotten tacos cause those were fantastic. The octopus was tasty but because of how fried it was, was pretty oily. This place is pricey but the food was delicious.“
“This is our go-to coffee shop in the area and we come in almost every other day. The coffee that’s roasted in house is top-notch. We’ve ordered several different things (black coffee, cappuccinos, cortados, lattes, decaf, etc) and realized you can’t really go wrong with anything here, including the baked goods. Service is great too- we always seem to run into the same three workers behind the counter, and all have been great. The lines can get pretty long, especially on the weekends. You can even run into a decent sized line on weekdays, but at least the lines usually move pretty fast. Overall, highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area- you won’t be disappointed!“
“as this was my first time trying gumbo, I'm not sure I'm fully qualified to judge this, but I'll give it a shot anywaynormally, I don't like soups, because they're mostly liquidhowever, this was less of a soup and more of a dish with a ton of sauce - due to how much stuff is in hereI loved that this bowl was completely packed with solid ingredients - so each spoonful got you a variety of different thingsthe most important thing in a soup is getting the broth right - and I have to say they pretty much nailed itthe liquid has some spice to it - which very much pleasantly surprised me, and in addition, it has great depth of flavorI found it to be probably the best part of the bowlnone of the toppings are particularly noteworthy - they're all pretty solid additionsas mentioned earlier, the amount of meat in here was pretty fantastic.I noticed chicken and sausage as being especially present throughout, and both were pretty goodthe bread was decent - I thought it could've used more toasting/crispiness and more butter - as it became a bit too softwhen dipped in the gumbothe fries were also ok - i would've loved if they were seasoned with some sort of cajun seasoning - but the sauce was goodthe price wasn't too expensive, around 15 dollars, but the portion size wasn't huge either - so it's about a wash thereOverall, good flavor with a ton of different ingredients. 8/10“
“Always delightful to check out their selection. I love that you can sit outside at the heated patio if you don't want to be inside. They're also dog friendly (they don't serve food, just have rotating food trucks). I am sober-ish and I'm always able to find root beer or kombucha available for those days I want zero alcohol.“
“I had just recently moved to the area and decided to try Halcyon Brewing - awesome atmosphere, great beers, and amazing food! The bartender at the time, Will, was very welcoming and friendly! I really appreciated him taking the time to give a beer recommendation based on my preferences (highly recommend the rice lager) and introduced my friends and I to Tuesday Trivia (also highly recommend). Would definitely be a spot to try out if you haven't yet!“
“Coffee Pick Me Up! I tried Coffeeholic House newest drinks that you need to try. Their Greenwood location is the perfect spot to get some work done, catch up with a friend or date ? or just enjoy some delicious coffee. The egg cream is so good! If you like sweeter drinks I recommend the tiramisu egg coffee. The brown sugar matcha latte tasted just like brown sugar bubble tea without the boba. The ube and egg cream is a great combo you won’t regret ordering ?“
“The baristas were very friendly! I got a lavender latte and a sour cream coffee cake. Both tasted great! The coffee cake was pretty big. My partner got a decaf mocha, which he liked a lot. It’s a really cute coffee shop and I loved that they have pictures of different dogs on the wall and offer dog treats too.“
“Amazing neighborhood gem. The staff are great and real friendly. Impressive beer selection that is constantly rotating, too. The sandwiches are really good with a lot of variety, worth trying lots of different ones out as they are all quality and you'll be rewarded with new favorites.“
“What a nice little dinner spot! Drinks were amazing. Ceasars salad left something to be desired but the pizza redeemed it. Excellent flavor choices, thin crisp crust, and great sauce. My only gripe was there was so much flour on the bottom of the pies. Also a woman was actively doing parking enforcement while we were sitting outside, which made the whole scene a little weird at times. Overall not a bad spot, would definitely return.“
“Lovely local/neighborhood spot. Great for people/first date watching. If you’re not a local, please don’t come. The food is decent and changes regularly, but the drinks are phenomenal bc the resident bar tender is phenomenal. The service is meh — our orders get messed up every time, but the dishes that do get delivered are delicious!“
“Great grilled cheese sandwich, salad, potato salad, and desserts. Folks working there were nice and helpful in deciding what to get to eat. They were short on number of indoor places to sit, but there is nice seating just outside. Great experience.“
“This place is phenomenal! The drinks, food, and service are unmatched!Everyone who works here is so friendly and it is a joy to go through. One time, I forgot my wallet going through and I was just going to move on with my day. She told me to not worry and to pay her back next time! We love Nordic :)“
“I love this place! Great ambience, lively people, and it has a European vibe with the picnic tables outside under a tent. A good place to hold a late afternoon business meeting when it's a Thursday/ Friday and EVERYONE wants to get out of the office for a change of scene. On draft, I recommend Queen Anne's Revenge, when it's available. And just when you realize you need a snack, there's a food truck right outside. Also, quite a cool merchandise shelf. I couldn't resist purchasing a hat to start off the new year.“
“If you go to Seattle , this place is a must. The food is delicious, they have a little space with music, very private to eat, and the service, awesome, they are very attentive.Don’t hesitate to come here, is just a great place to visit. Here a Colombian family visiting Seattle .Thanks for everything!!“
“One of the best pizza spot in town. As soon as you step inside the mouthwatering scent of freshly baked pizza welcome you to a true five-star treat. Friendly service, cozy vibes, and a menu filled with top-notch pizza? , beer? , and wine? makes it a perfect spot for everyone. Super spacious with an option of outdoor sitting as well. And can’t forget about the backyard patio.Ps: pets? and family friendly?“
“I ordered a birthday cake for a family member and Stefanie absolutely nailed it. We ordered a chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream and it was delicious. The cost of the cake was more than reasonable - I would highly recommend reaching out to Stefanie at Cakes by Frosted!“
“Love Downpour. Living in Edmonds, one of our favorite things to do is walk on the ferry to Kingston and spend the afternoon in one of the coolest towns in Washington. And a stop for a pint or two at Downpour is always part of the experience. It has to be! Friendly people, great variety of brews and a fun atmosphere. Can't recommend it enough.“
“I go to The SIX for their HIIT classes and Slow Flow Yoga classes - and they are great! Nice rotation of instructors, upbeat classes, and amazing post-work smoothies (you gotta try The Biggie). I've been a loyal member for the past 1.5 years, and love it. Note that if you are not looking for hot HIIT/intense work out yoga classes, this may not be the studio for you.“
“Excellent food and friendly owner/operators. Finally was hungry at the right time and place to try it. The smoked brisket pancit is I wish I'd looked more into them before; I'm confident that leftovers will be incredible too!Vegetarian options: Many customizable dishes to be veggie only, or tofu.Wheelchair accessibility: Food truck and they park smart, wheelchair users should have no trouble accessing the order window. As with most foodtrucks, the window is fairly high up so be prepared for that.“
“Love them absolutely to bits. They are my local pub, I hadn't planned them to be, and I couldn't be happier about it, other than it being dangerous them being so close by.The best staff, lovely brews, chill atmosphere, pet (not just dog!) friendly, and genuinely just a nice place to hang out for a hot second. Not to throw shade too hard, but would 100% recommend over old stove which is also nearby. Rooftop has better beer, staff/denizens, and vibe by a mile. If you want a grumpy bartender and fratbro atmosphere, go to old stove. If you'd like to sip lovely beer, maybe love on a chill doggo, and just generally have a nice day, stroll on down to rooftop.“
“One of my FAVORITE things I did in Seattle! Bainbridge Vinyards is the only winery on the island that grows all its own grapes, and grows them all on the island! The tasting fee is only$18 for 4 tastings. We shared one, and the man pouring was so friendly and gave us a smidge more each pour because we shared. It worked and we obvs ended up buying more glasses, lol. The tasting takes you through some really unique wines. They offer snacks too, and allow you to bring your own. You sit on the patio or can even move closer to the vines and eat amongst the grapes! If I lived here I would come here every weekend. It was so peaceful and idyllic. It should be noted, do not be fooled by the bus route which seems like it will take you close enough you can walk. The bus in Bainbridge is impossible, did not come when it was supposed to, and we luckily got an uber (I guess there are only a few on the island, so don't depend on uber). During the drive, I realized how treacherous walking from the bus stop would've been! Do not rely on public transportation or uber to get you here! Rent a car or call a car service if you are from out of town!!“
“Cool little neighborhood pub. Lots of kitschy decor. They had a good crowd on a Monday night, but not packed. Seemed like the beer list wasn't really big, but they have a full bar if cocktails are your thing. There is food, but we just came in for drinks. Will definitely be back.“
“One of my favorite places for beer and cider! The atmosphere is chill and there’s always something fun to do. Vinyl night on Sundays, live music on Saturdays, trivia on Wednesdays, the list goes on! Bartenders are fantastic people and I am definitely becoming a regular here.“
“Fish and chips are really good. The staff is pretty friendly. They have Wi-Fi available which is pretty cool. The only complaint I have is that it's extremely cold inside of the restaurant and a very uncomfortable to be that cold while you're trying to eat.“
“I was only surprised they were not busier. We had a great time and the pizza seemed authentic based on my most recent trip to Italy and tasted delish. Didn’t like what was on the TVs but really who cares when the food, service and company are great! They should make the TVs play something Italian for ambiance… anyway, it was great!“
“Great company! We have used them twice once to replace door opener and they did an amazing job at a great price! The second time my spring broke and my door would not open. They were booked for the next but they were able to fit us in the next day and get it done quick and professionally and again at a great competitive price. We will use them for any future garage door issues! Thanks again“
“My wife and I were walking by The Saucy Sailer a few days ago and a young woman working there asked if I wanted a sample of the Cottage Pie. I said sure. I took the sample and we continued walking as I tasted the sample of the Cottage Pie. All it took was one taste and I said to my wife, this is absolutely delicious. I had to have more. When we finished our walk on the beach we returned to the Saucy Sailer and told her how much I liked it and we bought three meals, one for my neighbors, and two for us. I just had some of the Cottage Pie tonight for dinner and it was so so so good. YUMMY. TWO THUMBS UP. FIVE STARS. All I can say is go get some!!! Thanks Saucy Sailor for some of the best food that I have had in a long time. This place is tops!!! I can't wait to try all the other items on your menu. Thanks again and see you soon.“
