Has to be my favorite Korean restaurant ever! Everyone was welcoming and helped us figure out which foods to try out! They were happy to help with any questions we had and even gave out watermelon to everyone on one summer day. Interior is simple, but very spacious with lots of room to move around! The soft tofu soup and side dishes were my absolute favorite!

to celebrate March 1 (Sam-il - day of Korean liberation movement against colonization by Imperial Japan) - my friends and I sought to commemorate the occasion with some bomb, authentic Korean food. We came to Gangnam ~8 pm on Friday and were seated immediately. The other tables were almost full but the overall ambiance didn't feel busy in an overstimulating way ~ it felt extremelyyyy homey with local diners and was very clearly family-run. Tbh I had a feeling the food was about to be amazing when I heard the random 2010s karaoke song covers + saw the Korean variety show with no subtitles on the TV lol (FYI this restaurant uses a button system - you press a button on the table to call for server assistance, incl. for when you are ready to order :))- ) The Gangnam Family Set for 3 is such a good deal (we underestimated the portions) when I compare it to my own local area (Bellevue/eastside) Korean restaurant pricing. Everything in my photo was included in the set, except for the cheese corn (we purchased that separately). My favorite bites were definitely the Mackerel, steamed egg, and spicy marinated Squid - we all left with leftovers! I was rlly impressed by the banchan (side dishes) variety - the ingredients + labor show a dedication to tradition. If you are more familiar with the standard profit-grabbing banchan options (not that premade potato salad...) - you are in for a treat - my advice is to try everything. I will say the kimchi was more less fermented for my taste (more fresh style) But my Korean mother approves of everything else, and remarked that it felt like a halmoni (grandma) made them:)) (which after seeing into the kitchen when I went to pay, is quite literally the case

An okay korean restaurant. Dont expect amazing, but will satisfy any cravings that you have. Would recommend the kimchi jjigae as it comes with glutinous rice that is amazing. The staff aren’t the best at speaking English, but despite that, customer service is quite straightforward.

Based only on the Kimchi fried rice. It tasted good overall and the sides all tasted really good as well but for only the kimchi rice, no meat it was over $20.

I get their spicy seafood soft tofu soup every time. I have driven from Renton for this. Just to get this. It's spicy and absolutely delicious!

My daughter likes to eat spicy rice cakes(ddukbokki) in this restaurant. I usually eat Bibimbap in the hot stone. Bibimbap is okay but Sundae Guk didn't meet my expectation. But they have good side dishes which are Banchan and the staff is very kind.

Little family type spot. Its what you've been looking for. I got the Soft tofu stew with beef! Its the best tofu strew ive yet to have. And for the amazing price it already comes with a side of rice and and amazing Korean side dishes which i didn't expect. All the side dishes were super fresh and tasty. Service was amazing i came in on a Sunday night Christmas eve and i was allowed to dine in 30 min before closing which i was very thankful for. My new go to spot highly recommend.

Food: I ordered beef tofu soup and I thought it was very good. Broth tasty and beef good. I also ordered dumping soup which I also enjoyed. Dumplings good and broth delicious. Side items were good but the weekest part of my order. I do recommend this restaurant.

I ordered take out, and the food lacked a lot of flavor. the food lacked that hearty Korean flavor. I was left disappointed.

The soup was good. The table was sticky. The chicken wings were soggy. Not great. Not bad. Wouldn’t be my first choice maybe my fourth or fifth.

A very very good Korean restaurant! I think this is the first spot near the Seattle area that I've felt served some authentic, hearty, and delicious food. The ones in the city don't really compare, but I had heard Lynnwood was known for their Korean food and this spot did not disappoint. We were the first customers inside, and were immediately served some barley tea - so warm and comforting! I ordered the squid dolsot bibimbap and we also got the gamjatang (pork bone soup). They always say you can tell how good a Korean restaurant is by their banchan - the ones here were FANTASTIC. So many of them, and all so well made. The fish cakes were cut so cutely and had an amazing savory sauce, the potatoes were tender and perfectly glazed, and all the veggies were so fresh. I absolutely loved their kimchi too which was fermented enough but not too sour, and just the right amount of spicy/sweet flavor. Onto my actual order - the dolsot bibimbap was served piping hot and sizzling! The squid one actually comes with the veggies and sauce and squid all mixed together, as opposed to the traditional version where they're all separated and you then mix them together and add sauce later. Their gochujang sauce was delicious, and coated everything so well. The squid was tender, plentiful, and the veggies also added a nice touch. I also always love the crispy rice bits at the bottom of the bowl, and these were great. Service was really friendly and attentive, and the whole spot feels very homey. I would highly recommend this spot for some yummy traditional Korean food :)
