“From the moment you walk through the door to the moment you leave, the professional and attentive staff take care of every detail. Restaurant is large - it has great ambience, the layout provides a personal and intimate feeling despite there being many tables. The food is superb, we plan on returning to make our way through the great menu. It is the best place we have eaten at in Canada for food, service and ambience. We highly recommend the seafood tower as a way to taste through some of the menu. The grilled octopus rivalled what we have eaten in Italy. The pork belly was cooked to perfection. The wine list is extensive and expertly curated.“

The service is exceptional. The ambiance is on point. They even play great music. And that’s all before talking about the main event. The food!! Are you kidding me. Freshness,flavour and presentation. The wasabi! Have to come just to try the Wasabi. Seriously.

“this has been the best Korean food I've tried on the island since moving here over 2 years ago. The tteokbokki was quite flavorful and was deliciously spicy.

Really good service and kind servers who greeted you, and checked in often. Never felt rushed or felt like I was unwelcome there. Waters were quickly refilled and offered.

Nice ambiance, a cozy spot with warm, authentic Korean food. Will be returning soon.“

“This place had a very good price for the portion size. Food was fresh and tasty with the dishes including lots of flavour. We ate the edamame, udon noodle bowl, kung pao chicken and teriyaki chicken.However, all their chicken was deep fried including teriyaki chicken which you would expect to be grilled. Kung pao not as spicy as expected. Other than those issues, the staff were nice and the place was well kept. They also did a good job st staggering the dishes. Overall, a pretty decent place for a quick bite and freshly made.👍“

“Very friendly and welcoming owner, and the sushi was incredibly fresh and delicious. The prices are amazing, especially for the quality. Highly recommended!

It was also really nice chatting with the owner. We ordered a few California rolls and were even given one extra for free — something you rarely see these days! Such a kind gesture and a great experience overall.

“Excellent Sushi. The best fish to rice ratio of any sushi restaurant (ie rolls are loaded with fish and just a thin layer of rice). The fish is very good quality. Prices are the same or lower than the other good sushi places in town.

It can be a bit slow when they’re busy. It’s better to order everything at once then keep ordering one dish at a time.“

I’ve eaten in some of the fanciest Japanese restaurants in some of the world’s biggest cities including Vegas, Vancouver, San Francisco, Toronto and more. This was absolutely the best out of all of them. The deep fried little crabs were amazing. The staff was wonderful and the owner was fantastic and so generous. “A very lovely place that I’m glad is in the downtown area. I haven’t tried all of their options, but their Onigiri is very well-prepared and the only thing I find myself eating if I need a quick lunch. Fairly priced, too, making going there often affordable.

Their imported items are amazing and vast in terms of what they have, along with having an array of great-tasting items. Their canned coffee is a personal favourite of mine. To mention, their staff is incredibly hospitable and helpful, and, at least from what I’ve personally experienced, have a stellar memory when it comes to regulars. “Every time I go to Hillside I always drop by to my favorite fast food Edo.I usually order bento chicken with tempura and gyoza, I tried the noodles too and its so yummy.Moving forward I'm gonna try the rest on the menu.I would like to commend the staff esp the cashier Junna Marrie Yrah Bautista and her husb.They are so friendly and accommodating.Looking forward of having my next visit ..
