“Unique dishes, very savoury and tasty. Definitely lucked out on getting a table for 5 on a weekend evening. The drinks were really good and the service was so friendly and welcoming. 10/10 would come back again. I liked the Karashi Miso Salmon the most (so savoury and addictive), and the Charred Romaine the least (it was too saucy).“

“We visited Victoria for a weekend getaway, and did a bar crawl of the top-rated cocktail bars in downtown Victoria. This was our favorite, and it wasn't all that close of a contest.

The location feels secluded and intimate, the menu is beautiful and with a coherent theme. The fact that many of the cocktails were available either alcoholic or non-alcoholic was great, have never seen that before - and the NA drinks were delightful as well.

We came back the next night and had a great experience again with the same server, who answered our strange questions with gusto.

I would have preferred the centerpiece light fixtures be candles or similar, as the little light fixtures were a little bright to stare at.“

“So this was our first time eating here... Can't believe we had never tried it before. We were a group of 4 and we did the chef‘s menu. I have to say it was definitely one of the better dining experiences we have had in Victoria, many of the dishes were things that we would not have just ordered ourselves. Everything came out perfectly timed and spaced. The quality of the food was next level and absolutely delicious. Our server was from France and she was spectacular. The wine was a great value was quite tasty. Only negative is that it can get quite loud in there because of the brick walls and metal roof but honestly, the whole meal and experience were well worth it and we will be back.“

“Have been a number of times to vista 18 for brunch and dinner. Food and drinks are always great. The service isn't overly quick, but last time was abysmal. Waited over 15 minutes for coffees and then they arrived in dirty mugs. Server checked in once at beginning of meal only. Had to request more water and coffee from another server. Disappointing to say the least.“

“Chadol Sukju Bokkeum was a large portion of sizzling delight. Great meat to bean sprout ratio, stir fired in a delicious sauce. Side dishes were tasty but incredibly small compared to competing restaurants, offering more options and free refills. Service was quick and friendly.“
