“Came here for my mother's birthday during a trip to Victoria. We arrived close to closing but they seated us with a smile regardless and were very attentive. Had the seafood chowder, prawn tacos, and the mushroom chorizo pizza. Everything came out quickly and was super delicious! They even gave us a complimentary dessert (lemon tart). Really great experience. Will definitely come again next time we are in the area!“

Restaurant is large - it has great ambience, the layout provides a personal and intimate feeling despite there being many tables. The food is superb, we plan on returning to make our way through the great menu. It is the best place we have eaten at in Canada for food, service and ambience. We highly recommend the seafood tower as a way to taste through some of the menu. The grilled octopus rivalled what we have eaten in Italy. The pork belly was cooked to perfection. The wine list is extensive and expertly curated.“

“Had the most divine time celebrating our first holiday party at the Courtney Room. I've never been to this restaurant, but I will say, I WILL be returning ??? it was the most satisfying meal I've had in a while.

To start, I had the kale ceaser salad, the cod for my main, and for dessert, I had the olive oil chocolate cake! All was extraordinary! This dining experience will be remembered as the most joyous occasion! I can't wait to bring friends and family here the next time I'm in Victoria! Keep being delicious ??“

Wonderful food, and their "small " meal were very reasonable. Elegant setting where we watched the harbor otters play.

“We dropped in on a cold Friday night after seeing the light display downtown. As soon as we sat down, a teapot of hot tea was at our table. A very warm welcome indeed!The food was delicious! Enjoyed the Shanghai Brisket- very tender! I loved the Spring Roll appetizers. We had mixed vegetables and lemon chicken and, of course, steamed rice and everything was cooked to perfection! The service was excellent!You have to climb some stairs to get into this restaurant, but the climb is worth it! Only disappointment: no fortune cookies after our meal. ?We had twice as much as 2 people could eat, so we brought some home to enjoy again.“

“Our waiter Josh was super. Anticipated our needs and kept refilling our ice before we asked. Extra share plates were provided again without having to ask. Food was amazing and even though we shared a couple of entrees it was still too much food lol Always great quality steaks and seafood.“

“Great place to just grab lunch and relax in a down-to-Earth sort of vibe. Straight-forward, tasty food. Sometimes I ask for half a scoop of teriyaki sauce since in can be taste too sweet and overpowering if I eat here often. Not as budget-friendly as McDonald's, but great value nonetheless if you prefer regularly having Japanese food over McD. Wish there more more cheap, practical places like this to get ethnic foods in general.“
