“Thursday, March 26, my birthday. I decided to wine and dine with friends at Perro Negro.
We were a little bit late for our reservation due to traffic, which was no problem. They held our table for us.
We were welcomed into a beautiful dining room.
Our server Maddy was quick and attentive to the fact that we needed to order right away.
She ordered us some small plates that were absolutely delicious.
I’ve worked in the Restaurant industry, my entire life. Flavours and food presentation was spot on!
The manager Kevin
was able to spend time with us explaining some of the dishes
and helped us order the perfect things for our evening.
MADDY and KEVIN made me feel special on my birthday!
I’ll be back to order Everything on the menu
and drink perfectly refined cocktails!

“Great place for locals and tourists alike - couples, families, friends, workmates, whatever, good food, good beers, and plenty more besides. Along with a couple of flights of beer, we had the Kafka-esque hot dog and the Mustard Pickle Grilled cheese with pulled pork - excellent! Pictures in the Comments below…“

“We visited Victoria for a weekend getaway, and did a bar crawl of the top-rated cocktail bars in downtown Victoria. This was our favorite, and it wasn't all that close of a contest.

The location feels secluded and intimate, the menu is beautiful and with a coherent theme. The fact that many of the cocktails were available either alcoholic or non-alcoholic was great, have never seen that before - and the NA drinks were delightful as well.

We came back the next night and had a great experience again with the same server, who answered our strange questions with gusto.

I would have preferred the centerpiece light fixtures be candles or similar, as the little light fixtures were a little bright to stare at.“

“My family and I decided to try out stickleback Oceanfront Cider and Tap house after a day trip to sooke potholes and I must say we were not disappointed, service was outstanding, our server Sage was super helpful and patient with our two kids while they ordered there food. The food was excellent, the view was incredible and we will definitely be back!! 10/10 experience, highly recommend!!“

“It's a restaurant and a cafe in one. It's right on the ocean so there's great views. The food seemed uninspired, the chowder was watery but I think I would give them another chance. Chance. The pizza was fairly good and they have a forno oven that makes delicious crust. Good selection of mocktails and a delicious.“
