“We were up visiting and needed to kill a little time before check-in, so we thought we would grab a bite at the pub downstairs. The food was delicious but the service was even better. Our waitress, Kate (sp?), provided exceptional service. She was affable, attentive, and very accommodating. One member of our party has significant dietary restrictions, but Kate and the kitchen staff went above and beyond to make sure that she could was able to get her food as well.“

“My parents and brother arrived to Canada from the U.S for a trip through Glacier National Park among a few other places and we stumbled upon La Belle De Patate on a rainy day for a hike. Little did I know this would be one of the best places for a hot dog with sauerkraut. We went on a trip in 2012 July and this place and its business owner were the best. We even met him at a Safeway later the same week and exchanged glances of approval. Would return again.“

The second night I made an order online but accidentally pushed the Westshore location...(I'm in Saanich) when I was pointed out my mistake the young man up front went to talk to his manager Jenn! She had my order ready so fast! No questions asked! It was very busy in there for a Wednesday night! You guys are awesome. Thankyou again! We will be back to the hotel Accent Inn and Bin 4!“

“What the heck did I just eat? That was the first time at Bold and the BEST chicken wrap I’ve ever had. I also had delicious pita chips but that wrap was an experience.

“My family and I decided to try out stickleback Oceanfront Cider and Tap house after a day trip to sooke potholes and I must say we were not disappointed, service was outstanding, our server Sage was super helpful and patient with our two kids while they ordered there food. “Overall it was a positive experience ordering from here. The service did take a bit long, but they did have a bunch of customers and only 2 people working. More of a manager problem as these two did a great job moving us along and getting our food out. Burger could have been cooked a bit longer but still good nonetheless. I loved the Nutella milkshake, definitely hit the spot and the fries that I stole from my wife and kids were very good too. Open later than most places in the area which is a huge bonus. “Had a really good experience at Browns Socialhouse. I ordered the blackened chicken pasta, and it was really good. The nachos were outstanding and probably my favorite part of the meal. Our server was polite and friendly, and the service was great overall. Definitely a place I’d come back to.“

“I’ve been going to this A&W location for 3 years. And now, I will leave a review. The food is always exceptional in comparison to other fast foods. (e.g. McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Burger King.) The slight price hike in comparison to these chains is worth the raised quality of product you receive.

Service is outstanding as well, with an example being when I received a bacon, egg n cheese when I ordered a sausage. When I inquired with the worker at the front, I was immediately given a second breakfast sandwich without further questioning.

The atmosphere is good as well. However, sometimes there can be instances of tables being not cleaned after being used. Although, it’s the customers' moral responsibility to clean up after themselves; at least good enough for another person to use it afterwards.

Vegetarian options: There are no true vegetarian options as, Beyond Meat burger patties are cooked on the same surfaces as their standard beef patties. As well as, fries being cooked in the same oil as the chicken products.

Dietary restrictions: As for dietary restrictions, you are able to ask for a change of sauce, or removal of it entirely, and burger toppings can be removed and added to your liking.

Parking: Abundant parking. But, can be difficult to find a spot by the entrances.

Kid-friendliness: Has kids meals. Front staff are often handing out root beer lollipops to kids.

Wheelchair accessibility: Elevator that connects the top and bottom floors of the mall to get to the A&W.“

We tried the juicy Lucy and it was one of the best burgers I have tried ever. Really juicy and prime quality meat with enough flavor from the other ingredients. “Our favourite A&W in Victoria. The quality of food is always stable and good. We love their organic coffee, freshly brewed all the time. Staff are super friendly and helpful, especially Sam, Henner, Susie, Geraldine and Mark in the kitchen too, who make customers feel welcomed. The place is always clean and tidy. “The food here was amazing. We were looking for something close to the days inn hotel and saw this place online. I am so glad I picked it. The food was incredible. My husband said the fries were the best he had had in years. Good sized portions, and decent prices. I would definitely recommend!“
