“The food was super delicious, the soup was so crisp and fresh tasting, I love it. The katsu is so crispy and delicious and not tough at all. The takoyaki was great, crispy and hot! I got the loin set, and it was present nicely and had quite a bit of food. The bibimbap was very flavourful and yummy. Not a long wait, either. Staff was polite and quick with requests.“
“I came on a Friday afternoon. There was 10 people deep in line. The 3 people behind the counter were soo efficient. Nobody waited very long. But let me tell you any kind of wait is worth it for this place. The sandwiches sooo fresh and tasty. The soups super yummy. I had an amazing experience and highly recommend this restaurant.“

“Mom's kitchen is amazing. She's a one woman show, and makes delicious food for you right then and there while you wait in Market Square. It's better to think of her as a permanent food truck than a restaurant (no indoor space)Her food is delicious, the portions are large, and the prices are very reasonable. “Place looks a bit run down and needs an update, no one was inside and had me a bit worried, but the craving for jerk was stronger.Glad I did, the jerk chicken itself was great, tender and juicy, could be spicier, but the flavour is there. The sides and the rice left more to be desired, maybe sitting on hot plate too long.The beef patty was a bit dry, heated by microwave, but it was loaded.Overall it was good, I can see how it was on newspaper in the past being the best Jamaican on the island, still tastes good and I would try again.“
“OMG!! I love this place. I've been meaning to give you guys a try for some time already, but I live downtown and I rarely come up your way. Also, my boyfriend is more of a meat and potatoes kind of guy. It wasn't his first choice for our Friday night dinner.I'm happy to report that he loved the Barbacoa Beef Bowl.The bowls are fresh and tasty with a variety of flavours from all the different ingredients. It's amazingly difficult to find fresh healthy food in restaurants these days. Thank you for the great food. I'll definitely make my way out to you more often.“

“I was always wondering about this place. Today I went and tried the pizza here and I was blown away the food here is amazing honestly one of the best places in town for sure. It may be a hole in the wall but it is dang good and well worth going to. The service was amazing and they were super friendly.“

“I have been here twice and can't wiat to go back. The first time was for supper and the second for brunch. For brunch I had the Smoked Tofu Muffaletta Sandwich (smoked tofu on Wildfire sourdough, olive tapenade, vegan dijon aioli, sauerkraut, pickled onions, greens, served with soup or salad.
