“I ordered the Mini Meal for $25, which I did not find was that mini! First out were 2 garlic knots which were heavenly goodness of fresh, fluffy, garlicky dough that I dipped in nicely contrasting ranch dip. The main dish was "thick crust" single pizza of Superfunghi. The "thick crust" was not what I was expecting. It tasted more like toppings on focaccia bread. The herbed potato cream on the pizza didn't really work for me as it made the rest of the pizza, especially the arugula, soggy. I ended up asking for some olive oil to dip the pizza in (which I was not informed in advance would be $0.50 extra until it showed up on the bill at the end). For dessert, there were 4 flavours of ice cream to chose from. Overall, I really enjoyed the raspberry cheesecake that I picked. It was a little sweeter and the raspberry flavour was not as natural as I would like, but the shortbread in the ice cream was a nice twist. The cookie that came with the ice cream was a bit frozen, but I did not mind it as I was so full from the rest of the meal and had to take the cookie to go.“

“Wonderful ambience, and our server was fantastic. First time in the rebuilt Oak Bay Beach Hotel and it was gorgeous, upscale but not pretentious.Had the Bianco Verde and Margherita with added arugula. The tomato sauce was flavourful and the outer crust was chewy and nicely done. It got quite soggy quickly so perhaps the thickness under the toppings needs to be dialed in, but will definitely be back!“

I can’t stress the toppings enough, because it’s impossible to find a place around here that gives you any for what you pay. Actually……the west coast in general doesn’t really do that prairie style pizza that I miss, being a transplant. But these guys are up there. If you’re hungry for something other than DOUGH (like mostly everywhere else in town), go to Willows. Just under $50 for 2 MED pizzas with lots of leftovers for 2 people dining.“

“Amazing selection, great setting, excellent service. The Gnocchi meal was delicious but portion could have been more generous. The deserts selection could be on a tray to visualize it better. We did not order desert, but on our way out saw the selection and probably would have ordered had we seen it. The marshmallows belong in the desert menu. Will definitely be back.“
“GLO has become our go to restaurant in Victoria. The service and quality of food is amazingly consistent. The ambiance is modern and properly lighted although a bit noisy at times. Parking is easy on weekends, not so much during the week when local office workers are on duty. Unlike other Victoria restaurants, the staff are unfailingly friendly and appear genuinely happy to see and serve you. Top notch experience always!“

“First off let me state that I am allergic to Dairy and Legumes. There are many plant based cheese brands that have pea protein and chickpea protein as ingredients in. The Joint is the only pizzaria I have been able to find that has a dairy free alternative that is also allergen friendly from legumes. For me, my late night order felt like an insane treat. It’s so good. Also had the meat lovers pizza I had a gin and tonic to drink. The restaurant wasn’t very busy, but our service was great. Our server was kind and friendly. The restaurant was very clean. The bathrooms were clean and everything was above expectations. I really enjoyed the pizza here. It’s consistently good, the portions are decent size and I think the prices are fair. I would recommend this place to anybody it’s family, friendly kid, friendly wheelchair accessible.
