“Stopped in last night for a gluten-free pizza, and it was good. Crisp and firm, not soggy. Would definitely recommend trying one of their pies gluten-free or not. Salads are huge. The restaurant had a warm, homey feel to it, and our server was pleasant. They serve beer and wine, not sure about anything stronger.“
“Wow! This place was SO good for dinner, that we had to go back again for brunch! All of the staff was exceptional and went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. And to top it off, the food was fantastic, too! Jamie greeted us with a smile, and her expertise and love for her work showed by how well she took care of us! Everything from the drinks to the main courses were great! So good that we returned for brunch! The breakfast sandwiches were excellent as well, and the food both times dissapearred!“
“The pizza was fantastic! I got a meat livers pizza, and every bite was delicious. When I picked up my pizza, the owner couldn't have been more excited, and almost jealous, that I was having this pizza. 10/10 recommend and will be back for “
“EDIT they put "add mushrooms" on the menu right under the Philly Cheesesteak amazing sandwich super stoked the owner values the customers!Every restaurant I've ever been to will put grilled mushrooms on whatever you ask except this place the cook can't be bothered to add an extra minute to cook the mushrooms and throw it on your philly cheese steak (the philly cheese steak is really good but it's better with mushrooms)“
“JP’s is a wonderful family friendly establishment, and it’s a great asset to the island. During the day and early evening we have taken our 11 month old with us bowling, he likes to watch and push the ball down the children’s ramp. The food is great and they have a nice selection of non-alcoholic drinks. I do not personally drink but the bar looks fun. There is a separate dining room that is a little quieter, a couple pool tables and an arcade, there are also different nightly events (trivia, karaoke, 1/2 off bowling sundays, bowling league etc.) I would recommend anyone visiting the island to check it out!“
“Always visit local coffee shops!Spent the day island hopping and gladly picked up a drink here while on Lopez. I was pleased to see they had an extensive menu of coffee & related beverages, as well as specialty shop related items like handcrafted mugs. It all worked together to give this little shop a cozy feel on an overcast fall day.Staff was friendly, parking was easy, drinks were cheap, and I’d totally come back.We really appreciated getting to sit and chill for a few minutes, too. Overall, great local coffee and shop!“
“Walked up to this food truck on a Sunday afternoon and we ordered"The Sockeye" pizza per their recommendation and the "Hawaiian". Both pizzas were delicious! The Sockeye was amazing and they smoke their salmon in house! The crust was crispy on the bottom but still soft and chewy on the inside. We definitely will be back to try their other pies!“
“It was a beautiful day, and we decided to stop by for a bite to eat. The owners, who work alongside their wife, were also looking after their kid. I can imagine how challenging it must be to find help. Fortunately, the food was great, and we encountered no issues at all. It's definitely a nice place to relax. Definitely a 5/5 when comparing it to other restaurants on the island.“
“Wow! Wow! Wow! If you are looking for perfection in your baked goods- come here! We just had the best carrot cake we've ever had! (And honestly- I make a pretty mean one myself!) But this one blew the doors off my recipe! It was loaded with pecans on the outside, making it look beautiful as well as tasting incredible too! Not sure what all was inside, but it was loaded inside too! Not too much spice which sometimes overpowers the taste of the cake- it was perfection! Danishes were fresh and awesome too! You can't go wrong here!“
