“Having worked in some of Victoria's premier top tier restaurants in the 80's in my previous career, I am able to recognise dining excellence. This is exactly what I experienced at Il Terrazzo a few days ago. Everything was excellent. The flavour in the dinners I experienced was truly next level, high end dining. Our waiter David was the consummate professional, offering excellent recommendations, paying attention to every detail, and never left us waiting for anything while simultaneously managing to be wholly unintrusive. Even the bus person who cleared our table knew all etiquette, had clearly been taught how to do the job with excellence. Moreover, I feel the need to comment on the portion sizes, they are truly generous. This is often not the case in high end restaurants. Despite being a very upscale restaurant, with a price point that is in line with this, the value proposition remains excellent due to the incredible flavours, texture, and food quality. Big shout out to the kitchen staff, we will be back to enjoy more of their amazing menu.“

The cafe is very vegetable-forward, with plenty of fresh greens and healthy ingredients, but the food never feels like it's sacrificing flavor. “So, this was a take a picture before I ate fail; I even forgot to take a picture of my empty tray. But thankfully, there were some very kind people at Wheelies who allowed me to take a shot of another sandwich before it went out to the customer who ordered it.

I had their special and it was delicious. A masterfully creative play on a Big Mac (my inference - apologies if I got that wrong). It was supremely satisfying and a flavour explosion. So many things on their menu look absolutely outstanding. I can't wait to go back and work my way through it, and also their cocktails menu.

I'm gonna give a special mention to Working Culture who pointed me in the direction of Wheelies. They were on my to patronise list for today as I continued my search for amazing sandwiches, but alas, they were out. I'll pre-order next time.

“Fantastic, cozy little cafe! It's a little bit hidden behind the apartments, but it's a lovely environment and as far as I know, family-owned.

Prices are reasonable, lattes are extremely comforting like a warm hug. I've only had their iluka buns but they did not disappoint.

We all loved the food and menu recommendations from the owner. Thank you for a lovely evening out. The food isn't super quick to the table, but hey, this is fresh cooked and it's not simple white spot food. So relax and enjoy the experience. Pretend you are in Thailand.“

“Went in for dinner on a recommendation from a friend. OH MY. We went in thinking it would just be another dinner spot - we were so wrong. From when you first enter & you smell the fresh herbs to when you sit down around the table on super comfortable chairs/couches. WOW. The staff were attentive, personal and yet not in your zone too much. Helpful with advice on the food and menu. 10/10. The food was on another planet. We had three dishes in total - one appy and two mains. Cooked perfectly, extremely fresh flavours and large portions. The naan bread… just wow. Delish! Will be coming back and telling everyone about this. They deserve a line out the door.“

Of course the biscuits were exceptional and perfectly cut and toasted. I had the egg and bacon Sammy and added tomatoes and avocado. Perfect!!! Group of 6 all raved! A diverse, spread on a theme, and I'm not a gravy fan and it too was delicious. The special steak had homemade dips and stuff, and the vege was it was incredibly complex and yummy looking. I WILL BE BACK!!! The baked goods looked fantastic, but I'm so full!“

“This has been one of the best Greek restaurants we’ve ever been to. From the food to the service it was amazing and done right! Would 100% recommend! “Can’t believe we have a place like this in downtown. The space is cozy with calming music. Super clean and it feels like you’re transported to another country, kind of Tibetan vibes.

We ordered the beef dumplings and they came with a sauce that tasted like tomato salsa. Surprisingly, it worked really well together. The chicken curry is milder compared to other curries I’ve tried, but still very good and comforting. It suits my taste.

The staff are really nice too. Even with just one chef and one server, everything runs smoothly and doesn’t feel chaotic.“

“Superflux offers some of the best beers I've had in Victoria with one of the best patios. Given the city's extensive craft beer culture, it can be difficult raise oneself above the high bar Victoria sets, but they've certainly done it.

This is not an indoor seating restaurant, more like a hawker stall. There are plenty of outdoor seats in the courtyard.“

No other cafe can even compare for me now because it is the world’s best london fog. There are also so many delicious food options.
