Gorgeous spot, simply delightful!“

“This spot has the markings of an overpriced pretentious vegan joint, but it actually backs up the cost with awesome flavors and fresh-tasting ingredients. The BNB anesthetic also works. Many brunch items are already plant-based forward and can be made entirely vegan by replacing egg with tempeh. I GREATLY enjoyed my vegan eggs benedict. The hollandaise was excellent. Hell even the latte was good. My lacto-ovo partner got the poached eggs on tartine with cashew cheese and also loved it. We gota ginger snap and double espresso cookie to go. Recommended!“

Loved everything we had here from the bowls to the unique smoothies with a coastal theme and ingredients. They had a couple misses with the order but made up with it with smiles and a quick fix. Overall a couple dollars less than other places - higher quality ingredients and recipes. Good option if your group needs a combo of meat and plant-based options.“

However we are visiting from the UK and was not aware of the tipping etiquette so… if you are travelling from aboard make sure you tip as otherwise the staff will serve other customers first rather than the order of buying the coffee. Don’t make the same mistake I did. 4 people that brought their drinks after me got prioritise as they obviously tipped 🤷‍♀️.“

“During the protest on Feb 19 I came in to get tea and coffee. I like to support small businesses like this. Nice clean place. Vax pass required to sit in but not to take out. Which was nice. I had a lovely girl serve me and we talked about the egg bites. I thanked her and went to leave and had a woman cruse at me and then threaten to hit me. I kindly asked if she was having a bad day and needed a hug. I then began to record her I case she did proceed with what she said. I want to apologize to all people who were there trying to enjoy a peaceful day, and the the lovely staff who are just trying to do their job in a world that’s gone nuts. Sorry that this woman felt the need to be ignorant and violent to a person who was peacefully and politely getting a tea and coffee. This behaviour in older adults is embarrassing. And I am sorry it happened in your nice establishment. Hopefully it won’t happen again. I’d like to post the woman’s picture since she threatened me. But I’ll save her the embarrassment. “My girlfriend and I went downtown specifically to enjoy one of their delicious chai lattes. While I was paying for parking, a seagull pooped on me and my brand new hat. We still went to get a drink and told the baristas about the situation. They offered a rag to clean up and made us customers of the day. Definitely the best spot in town!“

“After golfing we usually stop at this place as it is on our route has lots of parking spots. Depends on the weather if it isn't hot outside we order coffees and baked goods. If it is hot outside we grab bottles of cold drinks and still find a few options on what baked goods would go well with our cold drinks.“

“This is a hotel cafe, so the prices are a tad high, but not terrible.

I had breakfast here with my kids. The staff were very friendly. My daughter said the pain chocolat was better than France and my little one loved the overnight oats. The dried fruit was actually much better than the frozen fruit I use at home, so I'll have to try that moving forward.
Sausage breakfast sandwich was also very good.

They were very busy which lead to service being slow (no fault of the staff) so do allow extra time.“

“I work across the road and frequently stop in for coffee, and this morning I brought in some of my daycare kids to get some coffee for myself and the staff. The owner (Nadia) gifted us a free hot chocolate with whipped cream and chocolate sauce for each child!! She was incredibly generous, and the children were overjoyed. Suffice to say the service is excellent and I will be back!!! Thank you Nadia!“
