Lunch times can be busy, lines are pretty common but usually there’s still seating. A dog bowl is outside for our furry friends but be mindful the cafe is *not* animal friendly. I love bringing out of towners here, never disappoints! The instant coffee is perfect for overnight hikes as well :)“

I always have the best service even though I usually come in right as they’re closing up but I’ve never felt like an inconvenience. “Gigi's is a rad local cafe with freshly made baked goods (I get a muffin every time) and delightful coffee. They support the local arts by showcasing local artist's physical talent (trinkets, mugs, paintings) and also through hosting open mics and poetry/writers nights. They have a live musician play most Sundays for a few hours and the owner, Gino, sings some sweet Italian tunes at the open mics. So... yeah Gigi's has been a glorious addition to the Quadra Village, buy stuff there“

Both cakes were excellent—the genoise was incredibly soft, and the cream was light. However, it did become slightly greasy towards the end. “This is a new hidden gem for desserts. We tried the carbonated coffee - we can only say it’s not what we expect or need more time to get used to the combination. In terms of the mango cake - the cream and the body of the cake taste exactly the type of birthday I enjoyed eating in Taiwan! “Came here for Brunch, I had ordered the BLT and a latte. Place was packed, but one table had just opened up so I thought that was perfect. Unfortunately my BLT came long before my coffee. The BLT was crazy spicy, my mouth was on fire, not what I expected, was a little sad about it. But the candied bacon & pretzel bun was delicious. Wish there was more of a warning regarding the level of spice as I couldn’t finish it. But I ordered a hibiscus cold drink to hopefully cool down my mouth. I would give this place 5 stars but it only opens until 5pm. Not very accessible especially when you finish work at 5pm or later.

It would be a great place to do work as it has wifi and has great lighting. However, again, it is only open until 5pm so the hours make it a less preferred work location.

I rather go to Starbucks down the street that opens until 8pm, and get a coffee and work there at the same time.“

“Churros and Mor catered dessert at my backyard wedding in Cobble Hill and all the guests raved about the amazing churros! Having their food truck there added such a fun element and vibe to the event. The owners Jorge and his mom were extremely warm and friendly to everyone, and they kept the churros coming all evening. Definitely contact them if you want something special for your wedding or event!

“Came to Java Jo's to get some work done. It was the first time coming here and the environment is super cute and retro. The service was phenomenal. The barista asked very specific questions to ensure I got my coffee how I liked it. Clarified how much sugar and checked how much space for cream. A well catered coffee snd delightful experience.“

“The atmosphere is nice, and the terrace view is great! The taste is a matter of preference, but the acidity of the coffee did not suit my taste. If you like acidity of coffee, you will like it! There were a lot of donuts, but if you go late in the afternoon, they aren't available! I had the Honey Cruller, and it felt like the fried donuts you get at a Korean market. “The mocha here is very good. It has a good espresso taste and aroma but most of all a reach chocolate flavor instead of the ratio stuff that Starbucks uses. However the star of the shop is the Yonni Donuts Honey Cruller. It’s so airy and big and soft as the original Tim Hortons, when they used to make them in the stores. Not the American bought save money by making them in a factory and sending them not fresh to the store. This place rocks with its atmosphere and vibe.“

“My husband and I were visiting from Vancouver and spent the afternoon working at this coffee shop. The service was efficient as we noticed that the tables were cleaned right after patrons left and the coffee was well-made. We had flat whites! The brownies and lemon squish were so good! “That staff is always so friendly! I regularly visit this location and am always so happy with my experience. Shout outs to the staff today who turned my horrible day around! “Iluka Espresso is a cafe located on the Gorge. Check out their patio on a beautiful day or relax inside surrounded by beautiful furniture, greenery, and visually pleasing artwork. The seating options are plentiful but I found some of the tables a little small.

The staff were friendly and brought our food out in reasonable time. The food was pretty tasty! I would’ve loved to see some breakfast items that include eggs. I bet they’d make a killer breakfast sandwich.

The store hours are decent. Not open super early but early enough. Not open Mondays.

Definitely check out this cute coffee spot. Lucky for us, it’s close to home.“

For supplements like this, it's easy to get substandard products buying it from these folks and that you're getting the best of the best.“
