“=== 1. VERDICT/VALUE It's Tims and it's in the airport: so it's likely run by Sodexo (embedded locations in Canada are not managed by franchisees/corporate head office). So if you have a hankering for Tims while at the airport, get it here! (Though I wish there was a location behind security in the Departures area :) === 2. FOOD On this visit, I happened to have the: - Bacon Egg English Muffin - Bacon BELT on an Everything Bagel - Fruit Explosion Muffin; and, - Water. The food meets the Tims standards!Note: when buying any drink in this pre-Departures area, the drink must be consumed or poured out prior to entering the passenger screening area. I waste some water every time...but rules are rules I guess!=== 3. SERVICE There is often a difference between these embedded locations and franchised locations and it's present here too. It's alright; staff are professional and fast enough for what it is.=== 4. ENVIRONMENT It's a walk-up counter, food court-style, so you're not dining in per se - though there are some communal tables and chairs in the airport behind this kiosk. Those with wheelchairs and baby strollers can roll right up to the counter. Parking: I assume you're not driving to the airport just for the Tims, but I if you are, the airport has plenty of space!“
“Although I am not exactly the target audience for an English Tea room, I have to say that Butchart far exceeded any expectations! Although we have been to the Gardens many times over the last 4 decades, this is the first time that my wife suggested that we take “High Tea” before our stroll through the amazing gardens... And of course it proved to be a wonderful idea as I relished every bite and sip (we also had the 3-glass “taster” which paired with the food nicely)... I will absolutely be taking tea on our next visit!“
“Not what I was expecting but BETTER!!!! This place was amazing and the cafe was modern, bright, cute and spacious !! They have plant based mills which was the main thing I was seeking out. And many different syrups too. My latte was amazing!!! They have a full staff so ordering was quick and my coffee came out pretty fast too for having a lot of people. I recommend if you are in the area! They have a cute side shop in the store too with cute mugs and powders to buy etc.“
“This is the go-to spot for your coffee's. They have a wide variety of options, from muffins, sweets, sandwiches, breakfast items, and lunch options. There is also a section of the store front in Emporium that sells a variety of locally made items. I go to the Emporium at least 2 to 3 times a week. The staff is friendly and quick. I have never waited too long for my coffees. As long as I'm working close to the Emporium I will be going there for my coffee breaks regularly.“
“This is a great spot. They make good coffee and good breakfast wraps. Pretty quick to serve unless it’s busy. They have fair prices also and are open an hour earlier than some of the other coffee shops around so now I come here in the mornings.“
“LOVE their vegan sandwiches. It’s a budget-friendly place with lovely staff and the BEST vegan brownie I’ve ever had. Lattes are great and milkshakes reportedly superb friends tell me. It’s a bustling place where finding a table at lunch can be a challenge but you worth that small hurdle.“
“Nice little sideway cafe. Great to sit on their patio in the sun. The tuna sandwich was delicious - fresh bread and tuna and homemade soup every day. It was so good I forgot to take a picture until I was 1/2 done?Go for the 1/2 sandwich and soup special !“
“I go here every couple of weeks for the last year with my partner and the lovely woman that owns the shop & her teenage kid run it and are so sweet and caring. I was excited to find that we had bingsoo in Victoria since we as a city are lacking a lot of good treats, so it's well worth the drive and the bingsoo never misses ?We love the mango the best, but also strawberry, Oreo, grape(w/ yogurt bingsoo), and the brown sugar boba bingsoo too!My partner also likes to order in a lot and gets 2 at a time. They freeze well and are like a yummy frozen project to chip your way through when you want a treat later! The Nutella taiyaki is also our fav. Thaws our tongue after our mouth is too cold and lets us keep going on the bingsoo!“
“My friends & I thoroughly enjoyed Alexander's Coffee two days in a row! We ordered: a macchiato, a latte, the cinnamon bun, and the peanut butter crunch bar. They were all fabulous! The staff were also wonderful- friendly, courteous, & helpful!“
“My online order was ready, but when I grabbed my ice latte cup, the lid was not properly closed, I end up spilling a quarter of my drink, I told both girls about the lid and they did not acknowledge the problem, just looked at me like if it was my fault.“
“Contrary to the asinine review “Cricket Hartley” left, Quince cafe is wonderful and has some amazing staff. It is a shame people like cricket are so displeased with their lives they feel the need to tear others down, just look at their previous reviews! I have always enjoyed visiting quince and the service I’ve received. “Stopped for coffee, a muffin and a sandwich on a road trip heading up to the Cathedral Grove old growth Forest. The coffee was flavorful, the muffin was fresh that morning, and so was the sandwich. There were a few tables in there with locals solving world problems.“
“I found this place while waiting in a ferry line with 2 sailing waits to the mainland. We had lunch and roamed the facility we came across so many things that were right up our alley , kayaking , tours , and a nice place to eat. They even have a boat launch. We decided to extend our stay , got out of the line up , got a VRBO, and explored.Best decision for us we had a great time. The staff at the marina took care of so well, better than BC ferries could. What a Great stay. I would recommend this place to all.“
