“The coziest loveliest cafe I’ve been to! The owner and the barista are so nice and make sure you feel at home. All the bakery items are made by the owner’s wife and are the best I’ve ever had! I highly recommend going here if you go to the island it’s a must visit.I’m an Indian and have had dosas all my life and their dosas are definitely one of the best I’ve had.Vegetarian options: Their dosa is vegetarian“
“We had breakfast here one morning as we were staying in one of the comfortable and amazing trailers here. The Cinnamon Buns were the best we've ever had and were like a work of art, as you can see in the picture! We spoke with the owner and you could see the skill and technique that was put into the food and the accommodations here! The Latte and Chai Latte were so amazing and just what you need to start the day! The service was great as well. They also sell lots of local crafts, cider and wine here which we purchased as well. We were just sorry we couldn't stay here for dinner as we were leaving before then. All the more reason to come back!“
“I found this place while waiting in a ferry line with 2 sailing waits to the mainland. We had lunch and roamed the facility we came across so many things that were right up our alley , kayaking , tours , and a nice place to eat. They even have a boat launch. We decided to extend our stay , got out of the line up , got a VRBO, and explored.Best decision for us we had a great time. The staff at the marina took care of so well, better than BC ferries could. What a Great stay. I would recommend this place to all.“
“Nice little sideway cafe. Great to sit on their patio in the sun. The tuna sandwich was delicious - fresh bread and tuna and homemade soup every day. It was so good I forgot to take a picture until I was 1/2 done?Go for the 1/2 sandwich and soup special !“
“My friends & I thoroughly enjoyed Alexander's Coffee two days in a row! We ordered: a macchiato, a latte, the cinnamon bun, and the peanut butter crunch bar. They were all fabulous! The staff were also wonderful- friendly, courteous, & helpful!“
“My online order was ready, but when I grabbed my ice latte cup, the lid was not properly closed, I end up spilling a quarter of my drink, I told both girls about the lid and they did not acknowledge the problem, just looked at me like if it was my fault.“

It is a shame people like cricket are so displeased with their lives they feel the need to tear others down, just look at their previous reviews! “I am semi regular customer at this location they remember my extra complicated drink that takes an extra breathe to order as well as my friend who is in a old folks home down the street from their store. Some of the staff were at another location that I frequented in the recent past and have treated me well at both locations. In all this is a great location to be recognized at I feel like Norm from Cheers when I get there.“
“i come here constantly due to working nearby, and have never had a bad experience. lovely staff, and despite it being a very busy environment with lots of people i find everything is always ready very quickly. there are lots of outlets everywhere so it's a good spot to do work on your laptop.“
“We had a wonderful lunch here on our way back to the ferry. The fungi pizza was one of the best pizzas I have ever had. The crust was amazing. The selection of food was large. Everything from bakery items, sandwiches to pizza. We’ll make this our regular stop when passing through Sydney. Great service as well!“

This quaint, cozy little bakery is easily found in the mall right across from the most central access entrance to the parking lot right before one gets to the Copper Otter restaurant… Two of the front staff employees here, Yoko and Jensen, with their warm, charming and effervescent demeanors, do a wonderful job of assisting one in wading through the myriad of choices of so many deliciously yummy items to eat here… Be that one of the generously sized, freshly made sandwiches or wraps, hearty soups, healthy breads, or any of the colourful and varied flavours of sweet treats available here. The staff making everything back in the kitchen do an amazing job…There are also a whole host of hot or cold drinks available made with care by the front staff as well…cakes and pies are available for special occasions….Not a day goes by that I do not partake in spending some of my time here at the bakery near the central grassy courtyard in the mall… see you tomorrow!John K Welsh, Coquitlam, BC“
