Stayed at the Pier Hotel the week of May 30th and the Cafe & Marker is excellent.
I go most often ones at 3:00 p.m. for the half price top shelf which has amongst other things almond croissants, the best in the universe! There's all two yummy things like apple cake, and at half price it's entirely affordable even for seniors since I'm a senior. The staff is really sweet. And the bathroom is fantastic, as it's part of the Pier Hotel and we have access to that. There's lots of seating areas when it's full, in the hotel lobby, with super comfy chairs!
Rating by stars is once again not great. The breakfast wrap I had and breakfast sandwich my wife had were very good. My wrap was especially good. The coffee was terrible. We both ordered flat whites. We should have known better when it’s generally 6-8oz drink max (2:1 coffee ratio) and our choice was either a 12 oz or 16 oz drink size! The coffee to milk ratio so heavily favoured the milk that it was like ordering hot milk with a faint splash of coffee. I actually asked...read full review
