“Quince has such great energy. As soon as we walked in, we immediately noticed how warm, cute, and inviting the space felt. It may be small, but there is plenty of seating both inside and outside.

The coffee and espresso were delicious!

We are grateful for this experience and highly recommend Quince for great coffee, friendly energy, and a vibe that fits beautifully with the Sidney area.

Afterward, we took our coffee on a short walk to the oceanfront, where we found patio chairs and a grassy area to sit, relax, and enjoy the scenery. It was the perfect way to complete the experience.

“Staff, coffee and food. Great looking place to relax“

“Got a mocha and a flat white. Both were quite good, nothing extravagant although very satisfied.

The Fruit muffin we got was very good though. Little more crunch and texture on top while the middle was soft and flavourful!!!

Price was normal for what we would expect getting in and out for around $15/person.

Not alot of seating, alrhough they do have a few outdoor seats which is what i go for! Could use a garbage can outside though.

“A nice, large coffee shop. We just wanted some light fare so we took some pastries (fruit almond brioche and strawberry cream danish), which were excellent. Also took a chai latte and a hot chocolate. Good service and room. Good prices. Highly recommend.“

Their croissants are flaky and buttery, the quiche is perfectly rich, and the macarons are a delightful treat — clearly made with real care. The coffee is excellent, and the personal service makes every visit feel special. They have gluten free and vegetarian options too.

The atmosphere is amazing — stylish, modern-rustic decor with great music playing in the background. It’s the kind of place you want to linger in with a coffee and pastry. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Pender Island!“

“Had a fantastic experience at this boat yard and will definitely be coming back the next time I need to haul out. The staff were accommodating and helpful, reminded me of that good old fashioned Island hospitality. It's a busy yard yet they were able to book me in on short notice. I needed some help to reposition the boat stands and they were able to accommodate me in a timely manner. The nearby pub and cafe both had good food and was convenient since I wanted to focus on my boat project rather than making food. There is also a neat little consignment boat chandelier where I was able to stock up on a bunch of fuel filters for my Yanmar 2GM20F.“
