“My partner and I just had a lovely evening at The Deep Cove Chalet. When we walked in, we were greeted so kindly by the hostess, who took our coats and walked us to our table.

Our server, Ben, was extremely friendly and took the time to share the heritage of the Chalet with us. Throughout the evening, he also made an effort to get to know us, which made the experience feel very personal.

The ladies working alongside Ben really made the night extra special. They were so kind and gave many compliments on my dress, which honestly made my evening.

Compliments to the chef for the exquisite food, that was some of the best beef tartare we’ve ever had. The Lanessan wine was fantastic as well. A special shout-out to Ernie, the dog, who put a smile on our faces when he sat to enjoy the sunset.

My partner and I left with smiles on our faces and are excited to come back and experience this lovely place all over again. Thank you! <3”

“Stopped by here while waiting for my flight and was pleasantly surprised. I was originally going to go to Spinnakers, but couldn’t justify paying almost $30 for a burger.

I ended up getting the buffalo chicken sandwich for $11.95 and it was generously stuffed with chicken. Overall, it was very good and a solid value. The woman working there was super friendly and happy to share ingredient information and answer questions. Definitely a great option if you’re looking for something tasty and reasonably priced before your flight. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“When we arrived and picked up our menus, they were brunch menus. We waited in line to order and got to the front of the line to order just at 11:00. We were told it was now lunch time. We went to the Five and Dime instead.”

“Land’s End Cafe was a solid, straightforward experience. The food and coffee were fine, and everything was served as expected. Nothing stood out as exceptional, but there were no issues either. A decent place to stop for a casual bite or drink if you’re nearby or waiting for a pick up, with no complaints overall.”

“It was a wonderful experience as it always is unfortunately, we did not realize that the menu had changed and therefore it was only a brunch menu so we were a bit disappointed because we were looking forward to the mushroom ravioli, which is our favourite nonetheless breakfast. Brunch was good as usual. The staff are amazing. The ambiance is incredible. The view is stunning, even though it was pouring rain.”

“We took my parents to Butchart Gardens to enjoy their Holiday Tea. Immediately we were hospitably greeted by a gentleman offering to hang our coats and welcomed us into the dining room. Our server Lauren was most gracious and patient as she explained the menu to us. (My parents are elderly and sometimes take a little longer to do things). We were served tea and a beautiful tiered tray of sandwiches, scones and sweets. The room was extremely calm, the music added to a relaxing atmosphere. In every way, we had a most enjoyable experience at Butchart Gardens Dining Room. We will definitely visit again.”

“West Coast Fish N Chips : The fish is cooked to perfection( we usually get cod). The fries are home cut with skins on, have to say coleslaw is a bit chunky for some people who wear dentures.. ( I enjoy it) Staff is great!, the prices have stayed reasonable, maybe because they haven’t renovated 🤔and We love the ambience!!!”

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the friendliest hostess (I sadly didn’t catch her name, but she was so welcoming), and the atmosphere instantly felt warm, nostalgic, and just happy. Our server Chelsea was the cutest vibe ever! She fit the place perfectly. Super friendly, personable, and made the whole experience feel really personal and relaxed. You can tell when someone genuinely enjoys what they do, and it shows. The food? Banging. Great prices and seriously delicious. I had a roasted chicken wrap with tzatziki and a bunch of fresh veggies, plus a side salad, and it was SO good. Fresh, flavourful, and filling without being heavy. And the little details?? Instead of the usual mint at the end, they give you a piece of retro bubble gum. Such a fun, nostalgic touch that totally fits the diner’s vibe. Overall, the food, the service, the atmosphere....everything was amazing. I can’t wait to come back. Five and Dime Diner is one of those places that just makes you feel good. 💕 Thanks everyone!”

“This is our family’s favorite sushi restaurant, and we’ve been coming here regularly since it first opened in the neighborhood. The restaurant always feels very clean and well cared for, and there’s consistently a welcoming, friendly atmosphere. The prices, portion sizes, presentation, and—most importantly—the taste are all surprisingly excellent. We’re so grateful to have such a wonderful sushi spot nearby and always enjoy every visit.”

“We recently celebrated a birthday here and had a memorable dining experience. Our waiter was friendly and attentive, making us feel at home. The room itself is well decorated and the ambient Bossa Nova sound track provided a romantic backdrop to an excellent meal. We had the scallops as an appetizer and the chicken and lamb as mains finishing off with the creme brûlée and the chocolate mousse. Delicious! Each course was a well presented combination of flavours to savour. We enjoyed each one to the last bite. We would certainly recommend Atelier for a superior dining experience.”
