Although we have been to the Gardens many times over the last 4 decades, this is the first time that my wife suggested that we take “High Tea” before our stroll through the amazing gardens... And of course it proved to be a wonderful idea as I relished every bite and sip (we also had the 3-glass “taster” which paired with the food nicely)... I will absolutely be taking tea on our next visit!”

For the people saying the wait times are long, it really depends when you call. Sometimes they tell me 10 minutes, other times it can be up to an hour, but for the most part, I rarely have to wait longer than half an hour. I'm a local and a regular - love supporting a small local business! Would highly recommend Yami for their sushi :)”

He had great hospitality, recommendations and attention to detail.We tried oysters, sushi, pasta, steel head, chicken and desserts. Couldn’t find a single dish that i didn’t like. “Great service and food, plus a nice view of the harbour if you can get a spot in the sheltered outdoor patio. The steelhead and sablefish main dishes in particular are quite good. Service is very attentive and checks in regularly to see if you need anything or to refill water. There is also convenient and abundant parking in the adjacent Wharf street parking lot, just be sure to enter via the right lane as you can't turn left into the lot.”
