We had a great happy hour at Lodge Kitchen & Bar. The fried prawns, onion rings, and truffle fries were outstanding, while the margarita pizza was just okay. The service was professional, and the beautiful interior made for a wonderful atmosphere.
As always the food here was great. The sushi is surprisingly and reliably excellent. However on this visit the service (shout out to Ethan!) was also excellent, which is unfortunately not always the case.
We just had an amazing Canada Day lunch while we were waiting for the ferry. Ethan was our server and they were so professional, kind, helpful, and very attentive to our needs.
We are locals and love the environment and the consistency of service and food.
Cannot wait to be back!! Happy Canada Day too everyone working today!! We notice your dedication and respect your level of service!!

Based on the reviews, The Lodge Kitchen & Bar offers a great happy hour with outstanding fried prawns, onion rings, and truffle fries, while the margarita pizza is just okay. The sushi is surprisingly and reliably excellent, and the food is always good. The atmosphere is nice, the view is excellent, and the beautiful interior makes for a wonderful environment. Service can be professional and excellent, with staff who are kind, helpful, and very attentive. However, service is not always the case, and one experience was very disappointing with a burger where the bread just fell apart. Some guests were disappointed to find the cauliflower bites are no longer vegan, and there was a complaint about an unexpected $47 service charge added to a bill for a table of eight without prior notice.
