Sushi was delicious, especially the sockeye salmon. Also it was made quickly, and they were happy to accommodate GF. Friendly staff as well.
Yami is the BEST sushi restaurant on this side of the island. It has been our go-to sushi restaurant for over 5 years since moving to the island from Vancouver. We drive out of our way each time and come at least once a week!

Yami Sushi is a beloved local eatery serving fresh and delicious sushi. This friendly family-owned business provides a welcoming atmosphere, making it a favorite among regulars. The clean, comfortable, and cozy ambiance enhances the dining experience. Easily some of the best sushi on the island, the food is amazing and wonderfully run. The prawn tempura features a light and tasty panko crust, while the sashimi and crunch roll showcase great flavors and freshness. Many customers appreciate the incredibly fast and phenomenal service. It is a cute restaurant with extremely fresh food and good portions. The dynamite roll and California roll are nice and light, and the gyozas are out of this world incredible. Yami Sushi is a great spot to enjoy a divine meal and support a small local business, making it a must-try for anyone in the area.
