“I ordered the mackerel set meal and thoroughly enjoyed it. The mackerel was grilled perfectly, with crispy skin and moist, flavorful meat. The rice, miso soup, and side dishes complemented the meal beautifully and made for a very satisfying dining experience. Being an owner-chef operated restaurant, the care and attention to detail were evident in every dish. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared. I look forward to coming back and would highly recommend this place.“

“This is one of Victoria's highlights. Bunny's is a hidden gem of a cafe and one of the few places to get a decent latte, flat white, or cappuccino. The food is good, but the atmosphere is cozy and community-oriented. The best way to describe Bunny's is that it's like coming back home for the first time. We're originally from Ontario, and stepping into Bunnie's, it was a quality cafe experience without any of the pretentiousness downtown. Just make sure you have some time to kill because once you get to the cafe, you won't want to leave, and they do close early.“

“Heard about this place awhile ago from 365prowrestling since they occasionally do live pro wrestling events here.

Originally went months ago on a Saturday afternoon but it was packed and too crowded to even be able to look around at all the unique crazy spectacular decor or to take photos since too many customers were there.

Kept seeing 5 star reviews so decided to finally go back and try the food this time.

Went on a weekday afternoon. Very quiet and relaxed this time with tons of empty tables and I was able to actually look around at everything this time.

My latte was in a huge Mug and over flowing in a good way. The server did an awesome job of bringing it to my table without spilling it since it was full to the max.

The Brisket sandwich I ordered was massive. I managed to finish most of it. Very tasty and I added the Hotwheels sauce they had on my table.

Awesome presentation and taste. Massive sandwich and they had the knife 🔪 sticking out of it.

Was definitely worth the price and I'll be coming back again to try another unique item to feast on in the future.

After my meal I was extremely full and totally stuffed but managed to look around in the cool gift/merchandise shop they have.

“I highly recommend this small, cozy, homey place. The staff/owners are so friendly and the cook/chef, a wonderfully friendly woman came out a few times and chatted. I came for the German meal tonight and it was fantastic. The red cabbage was like my mom used to make and the schnitzel was pounded into perfection! Topped off with an awesome Black Forest … all deeeelicious.“

“Adorable gem in a sea of greasy spoons and high-cal, low-health local spots for breakfast, brunch, or coffee. Loved everything we had here from the bowls to the unique smoothies with a coastal theme and ingredients. They had a couple misses with the order but made up with it with smiles and a quick fix. Overall a couple dollars less than other places - higher quality ingredients and recipes. Good option if your group needs a combo of meat and plant-based options.“

“Sedona Cafe & Lounge is amazing! Lovely patio, fabulous food & classy vibe! We had the Sedona burger with Yvonnes amazing homemade salad dressing. Then to top it off, homemade sticky toffee pudding with homemade ice cream! (We shared but now I wish I didn't have to) It was all to die for and the perfect place for foodie lovers date night! Check it out!“

“We were visiting Victoria and by chance met Fadi- one of the owners who told us about his family’s cafe. We LOVE Lebanese food so decided to check it out for lunch. We had chicken shawarma donairs and tabouleh and loved it. But most of all his family is so kind and warm and the cafe is super cute! Thank you!“

“Fantastic!!!! The food was truly amazing and the prices are so reasonable! The bacon was thick and chewy and crispy- just perfect! Of course the biscuits were exceptional and perfectly cut and toasted. I had the egg and bacon Sammy and added tomatoes and avocado. Perfect!!! Group of 6 all raved! A diverse, spread on a theme, and I'm not a gravy fan and it too was delicious. The special steak had homemade dips and stuff, and the vege was it was incredibly complex and yummy looking. I WILL BE BACK!!! The baked goods looked fantastic, but I'm so full!“

“Today was our first meal at Dosa Paragon - we will be back for the best Indian food in Victoria. We are glad the server recommended Chicken 65 as it was truly delicious alongside the flavourful chutneys. The chef owner chatted with us about the traditional ways and ingredients they use. “Fantastic cafe. Food, prices and service were great. Menu is pretty simple. Breakfast bagels/wraps and several coffee options. They had a hazelnut roast that I really liked.

We stayed at the inn next door for a week and got breakfast here most days. Ideal if you want to have a quick meal.“

“First the cake was very good. It was the perfect mixture of moist, solid, sweet and tasteful. The almonds added a cute crunch which was greatly appreciated.

No other cafe can even compare for me now because it is the world’s best london fog. There are also so many delicious food options. “Atmosphere and service were great, but the food itself was just average.

It's tucked away in a quiet corner near UVic, so it can be a little tricky to find the first time. But that's also what makes it a bit of a hidden gem. There's a courtyard and a pond right inside the restaurant. The vibe feels like a lodge nestled in a scenic spot.

The servers were nice and attentive. The menu was pretty varied too, going beyond basic burgers and sandwiches to include tacos, poke bowls, etc.

Overall it was a pleasant experience, but the food fell short compared to specialty spots. It wasn't bad, just not quite good enough to call delicious either. That said, the plating was very appetizing.

I also love you have a sliding scale so people who can afford it can donate or even order a meal themselves. Currently, it is my understanding that only agencies can call in with orders. It would be nice if luddite individuals could also just phone in. When I go on holidays the fellow I help goes without meals.

“Cheaper than the cove and nice staff however there’s only like 1 lunch vegan option and sometimes they don’t have it - the hummus veggie wrap. I saw them trial another vegan option (like quinoa salad or something) but it didn’t appeal to me. Hopefully they can add some other tasty vegan options :) Daiya makes yummy vegan cheese (when warm) which can be an easy swap for noodles/lasagna… or a vegan sandwich option (ex. Roasted veggies, pesto, vegan cream cheese). Coconut oil, vegan butter, and/or vegan cream cheese could be an option to make the bagels vegan too!“

“Benjamin’s Cafe is one of the best places for Filipino food. We ordered the bulalo platter, and it was absolutely delicious—rich, flavorful, and comforting.
