The recipe was so complicated and did not have the proper measurements. We had to ask a lot of questions. The tasting was a nice break and would have been better to also have sparkling juice instead of apple juice since others got champagne. I’m not sure after taking the class if I can replicate the recipe. We got to take lots of macarons made by everyone home. The chef was very knowledgeable.“

All of their locations have donuts and have a great cozy atmosphere with tasty homemade coffee drinks. If you want the best selection of donuts though go to their original Discovery Street location. If you want something other than a sweet for breakfast then you MUST get the egg bun. The perfect soft bun with cheese egg goodness.“

“Nice little cafe, but spent $21 for a croissant sandwich ($13) and a 12oz americano misto (oat, made up the rest of the bill). Prices were not listed for food items in the case. Ordered a 16oz but was given 12oz and told they don’t do 16. I have gotten 16oz americanos there previously- not sure if this is a new thing? Good coffee though!“

“Each time I visit, I am greeted by the calmest, kind man! They serve drumroaster coffee, so you know you're in for a good cup! ( any local coffee heads know drumroaster is the best on the island.)
The library section is super well curated. I always find a good read here!

It was also still warm when I got home which I did not expect. Nanaimo bar was elevated. You could tell good quality dark chocolat was used. Would definitely return to try other options. Everything looked very fresh and delicious.“

The samosa was crispy and warm, and the tamarind sauce added a nice tangy kick that balanced the flavor really well. Simple but satisfying combo! Definitely a good quick snack stop. ☕🥟“
