From the tuna to the scalopinne to the three different pastas that were ordered everything was delicious and the portions were generous. Make a reservation. She was an absolute wonderful server, she was personable, funny and very knowledgable and helpful with the menu. She made our visit one of our favorite memories from our vacation. “An Unforgettable Evening at Lumache

Lumache offers one of the most unique dining experiences in Victoria. With only 16 seats, the restaurant feels intimate and personal. The owner and chef prepares each course directly in front of you, allowing you to watch the entire evening unfold.

Every dish was thoughtful, beautifully presented and full of flavour. The vintage plates added character, while the small setting made the meal feel more like dining in the chef’s private kitchen than visiting a traditional restaurant.

My wife enjoyed her wine selection, and the group seated beside us spoke highly of the wine pairings. We are more drawn to cocktails, and Lumache’s creative cocktail list did not disappoint.

The entire evening was a huge hit. Lumache delivered one of the best dining experiences I have encountered in Victoria—if not anywhere. For anyone who appreciates excellent Italian food, thoughtful drinks and a truly intimate atmosphere, this restaurant is an absolute must.“

“We visited Fiamo tonight for my son's 25th birthday and were not disappointed. We ordered the carbonara and the seafood pasta along with two caprese salads. Service was friendly, fast and attentive, food was beyond expectations and the outdoor patio made for a special evening for my son. It’s clear that Windsor Cafe has a very dedicated following of regulars because I saw so many customers being called by name and addressed with warmth and kindness. The cafe is in a charming old Victorian home near the water which makes it a great stop for tourists and locals. As a chef myself, I was very impressed with the fresh food and coffee. The address of this place is on Douglas Street but it's actually located in the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel which is situated between Penwill St, Burdett Ave and Humboldt St .. super confusing.

I walked in and ordered two pizzas from Kip, who is a shining star at this location. Very friendly, wildly humorous and great at his game as he talked me in to a couple of beers while I waited for my pizzas. It was last call and the place was just shutting down but he never made me feel rushed and overall, it was the customer service that would bring me back if I'm ever back in town.“
