Dinner for 2 on a lovely late Summer evening. We sat inside and watched the beautiful sunset while we ate. Our salad starters and fish mains (Halibut, Sablefish) were delicious. And our server (Monika?) was lovely from start to finish.
We decided to go to Boom & Batten for my wife's birthday. When I booked the reservation online through OpenTable I checked the special event box indicating it was a "birthday". I thought nothing of it. The staff at Boom & Batten did. The hostesses greeted us warmly commenting that they were happy we came to celebrate the birthday there. Food was excellent and so was service. We got seated right away with a water view. Risotto, Roast Chicken and Gnocchi were all amazing. Server was lovely and professional and called us when I left my reading glasses. We would definitely return. Nice to watch the floatplanes take off and land while dining.
