Caribbean Village Cafe Reviews
The owner James is so welcoming and full of amazing stories and has an incredible memory - this place is a MUST VISIT for lunch or even takeaway. Can't wait to come back.
What a joy to find a little Jamaica and Ethiopia in one place. My wife and I met in Ethiopia and worked in Jamaica.
Me and a friend stopped in here randomly walking past after being intreaged by the beautiful garden outside. The owner was so and welcoming and ended up chatting him for ages. Food was incredible too! Will definitely be going again.

Caribbean Village Cafe is a restaurant celebrated for its Jamaican cuisine. The jerk chicken is a highlight, known for its tenderness, juiciness, and flavorful marinade, though some may find it not spicy enough. The beef patty has mixed reviews, as some enjoy its warmth and taste, while others prefer it heated due to dryness. Recently, the restaurant catered for a Black History Month event, impressing staff with their assortment of Caribbean desserts and Jamaican patties. Customers appreciate the atmosphere, finding it delicious and filling with great value and lovely vibes. Although the rice and side dishes have been noted to possibly have been sitting out for too long, the chef owner has been praised for being hilarious and generous. Many have recognized this place as a must-try for the best Jamaican food, with the jerk chicken wrap and Powerball also receiving positive remarks. Despite needing some updates in appearance, the restaurant's past reputation as the best Jamaican on the island remains strong, with authentic and tasty food that keeps customers returning.
