Place looks a bit run down and needs an update, no one was inside and had me a bit worried, but the craving for jerk was stronger.Glad I did, the jerk chicken itself was great, tender and juicy, could be spicier, but the flavour is there. The sides and the rice left more to be desired, maybe sitting on hot plate too long. The beef patty was a bit dry, heated by microwave, but it was loaded.Overall it was good, I can see how it was on newspaper in the past being the best Jamaican on the island, still tastes good and I would try again.

Delicious, my son especially enjoyed the cookie sandwich

Tasty however service was very poor. Gentlemen decided to argue with us rather than provide us with the item we had selected. We ended up walking out.

The only thing better than the patties is the atmosphere and community. All thanks to James, who has been running this cafe for over 20 years.

The beef Jamaican patty I had which was warm was quite good, much better than the other Caribbean place I tried near Tillicum. However, the one that was cold was dry and difficult to swallow.Perhaps this may have been remedied if the gentleman at the counter offered to heat the other patty up; he did not.I'm certainly no authority on Jamaican patties but I highly recommend the warm ones, just steer clear of the ones that aren't heated.

The hand pies and samosa were tasty but the funny, generous owner is what made our visit so awesome.

Amazing amazing amazing food! I’m in town for hospital stay and my cousin brought me Jamaican patties, they are everything I could wish for and more. The only reason I didn’t do five across the board is I didn’t personally go in myself but cousin says amazing and I do not doubt that. Can’t wait to go again and tell chef how great the food is in person! Thank you sooo much!

This is the worst food I’ve ever tasted ! If you’re looking for an authentic Caribbean restaurant please don’t go here . The food is awful, the place has a smell and the customer service is awful.
