“First time at this restaurant based on Google Maps recommendations. We had never had a Roti before. All of us ordered the chicken Roti. The pulled pork was not available. No reason was given but I suspect it had something to do with us being there right at open. The interior is small, but appeared clean. Decorated with nicnaks from Trinidad and Tobago. The young lady at the counter serving us was not very smiley or cheerful when taking the order. I didn’t get the sense she wanted to be there.Food arrived about 15 minutes from time of order. The Roti was amazing. I have never had it before so I have nothing to compare it with but it was so flavourful and everyone loved it. Three were mild spice and one medium. The medium had a nice heat to it. Very enjoyable.Would absolutely go back.“

“Place looks a bit run down and needs an update, no one was inside and had me a bit worried, but the craving for jerk was stronger.Glad I did, the jerk chicken itself was great, tender and juicy, could be spicier, but the flavour is there. The sides and the rice left more to be desired, maybe sitting on hot plate too long. The beef patty was a bit dry, heated by microwave, but it was loaded.Overall it was good, I can see how it was on newspaper in the past being the best Jamaican on the island, still tastes good and I would try again.“
