For a White Spot, I was so impressed. I ordered the steak. I was hesitant because it isn't what they're known for, but I was beyond surprised! It was cooked PERFECTLY, it was tender and flavourful and I was so pleased. The mashed potatoes were delicious... Everything was cooked to perfection! It's not the cheapest breakfast destination, and if you're looking to meet for breakfast before work, you'll be out of luck, because it only opens at 8am. But all that said, this is good breakfast, with really good coffee, and a comfortable enough environment in which to eat.Staffing is, as other reviewers have noted (since well before current general job market woes), sparse. Great service at the Saanich location but food is just average, as in any White Spot restaurant. Don’t order their apple pie. It’s disgusting. Was there with other people, normally don’t go to these places.
