Fantastic!! Cheese curds are more “melty” and less “squeaky” but overall 10/10 and better than a lot of poutine I’ve had in Montreal. Great spruce beer. Grilled hot dog is a bit different than what you’d expect from a toastie but still great. I’ll try to come back when they have the chicken BBQ gravy (Wednesday/saturday)
I've eaten poutine everywhere I go. Even the other "authentic Montreal" restaurants and nothing even comes remotely close to this poutine. It is untouchable and undisputed.

A simple hole in the wall with an incredible reputation that held up for me. I went with my sister and we shared a loaded hot dog and an order of poutine with a spruce beer to wash it down. The food was terrific and the owner was a delight. He talked me into try to spruce beer soda and it was so yummy that I took a bottle to go for my husband to try. I’ll definitely be back to this great place.
