First time ever having poutine! As a vegetarian, it's hard to find a restaurant that makes it in a way I can eat. Swans nailed it and it was delicious!Vegetarian options: The vegan poutine is killer! The waitress (who was super nice!) suggested next time doing the regular poutine with the vegan gravy (as I'm vegetarian, not vegan).
Swans is a classic Victoria brew pub, so I am always happy to bring out of town guests here for a "local" experience. For the past several years I have invited a group of about 40 volunteers from an international event I help organize to gather for dinner and refreshments here. Top-notch service & inviting atmosphere! Swans took great care to accommodate my group at short-notice, and the staff were diligent in ensuring we had the best time. Having an inhouse gluten-free beer on tap was a much appreciated touch! Will be back for our next gathering :)
