“Not a big spot - but loved this combo brewery and distillery! Laid back atmosphere, good brews, and high end cocktails. The staff were so kind and though they have no alcohol free options - the bar tender whipped me up the most amazing impromptu mocktail. We had fun here and will come back as soon as we can!“

“Hoyne is by far the class act of the BC craft beer scene. The “Dark Matter” is a revelation. The greatest beer ever made. I’ve travelled the globe and nothing tastes of this high quality. I also love their other beers, specifically the “Pub Lunch”. Fabulous. In the world of the competitive beer market, Hoyne is a world class outfit.“

“I visited this lovely place on my birthday and I wanted some small snack with my beer like peanuts but didn’t have so I ordered the dill pickle thinking it would be served on a plate like a small salad but they put it in a shut glass 🥒and handed it over to me 😭 and every table next to us had a good laugh!! I’m not mad I think it was funny and it made a memory for us so thank you for making us happy mr. pickle-man“

“Great service from the friendly staff! The tasting room was very clean. Their beers are amazing and the merch selection is really great too. I went here at non-peak hours (weekday afternoon) so might not be the best metric for a busy weekend night but I was very impressed!“

“We visited on Valentine's Day so it was probably unusually busy. The overall ambiance wasn't great, it felt like a basic and noisy pub. Not so great for couples as there were a lot of huge tables. The food was not gourmet but excellent - very tasty. The servers seemed very friendly, competent and experienced but were hampered by the kitchen being overwhelmed. Definitely good value for what we had. Totally okay as a place to grab a good meal - just don't expect a nice cozy ambiance....“

“Really comfortable brewery/distillery to stop in and grab a pint and a bite. The beer selections i had was delicious and refreshing. Although I didn't find the menu of food particularly appealing, your needs are probably different than mine, so have at it. The people working there were friendly and knew about their beers. Definitely stop in. If I find myself there again, I'll be trying the gin and whiskey.“
