Superflux Beer Company Brewery • $$
505 Clark Dr, Vancouver

“Service, food, and drinks were great! We really enjoyed “The Mac Dog” and chips. The atmosphere is super cool, as well. There’s a cute indoor area and a little patio outside. The flight of beers were basically full-sized drinks, so be careful! lol! Ardy was fantastic, thank you!“

Brassneck Brewery Brewery • $$
2148 Main St, Vancouver

“Brassneck will always be my top choice for brewery, from their long-standing favourites to their short term treats, this is by far the gold medal of brewing.
To make this a rounded review, I'll say the little slip for a visit is that they don't have much for food. I can't say I have ever been there for food but sometimes people like a quick plate, so I'll put that note in here.
Whether dropping by for a fresh poured growler or a large pint, you will be amazed. I am so happy that I'll have to go back to get more photos!“

Slow Hand Beer Company Brewery •
1507 Powell St, Vancouver

“Good beer and good pizza! Lots of selection of ales on tap (and in cans/bottles). There are a surprising number of pizza options, including a couple of vegan pizzas and a daily special. Pizzas are thin crust with a good chew and tasty toppings. Like most of the breweries, service is self order the drinks and food.“

Threefold Beer & Pizza Brewery •

“Fantasic pizza! We tried just one - but oh my god, so good!
Also - check out the right side of the building for the entrance. Advice to management - please add signage on the main road cause the entry is very easy to miss and all you see are two doors. Almost felt like Google mistagged the business before we walked around to see the entry. Phew!“

“My husband and I came out on Friday evening and were served some tasty drinks by Liam. We enjoyed some great banter along with one of the locals. Between the both of them, we felt so welcomed. He knew he could give us shit for being from Seattle and for heading to the Canucks/Kraken game and we enjoyed every bit of it.
My husband enjoyed their hazy pale ale so much, we came back on Sunday before heading back home. We met Barbara and again, impressed by the kindness we received! We can't recommend this place enough!“

Strange Fellows Brewing Brewery • $$

“A cool place to stop on the classic brewery tour in Vancouver is this fantastic spot with a great selection of beers (with a European flair), house-made wine, and cider. They also host cool events throughout the year—like the unforgettable Dead Fellows Halloween event and Krampusmarkt. It’s worth checking out! Currently, they have an amazing chef Doug Lee who makes the most delicious food. We go several times a week. Run, don’t walk there!“

Main Street Brewing Co. Brewery •
261 E 7th Ave, Vancouver

“Love the cozy atmosphere (instead of noisy sports, you get Bob Ross and beer promos!), and the Kingpin Hazy Pale is one of my favourites. Avoid the food though; inedible microwaved garbage. Nothing personal, I love the place, but the food sucks. Just go to Steamworks or Brewhall for good pub grub.“

Bomber Brewing Brewery • $
1488 Adanac St, Vancouver

“Great brewery, but the bartender poured me a flat radler and insisted there was no carbonated batch, even though I’d enjoyed a properly carbonated one here just the day before.

Solid beer at most times, but this experience wasn’t ideal. Still **one of the best** breweries in the lower mainland though.“

Parallel 49 Brewing Company Brewery • $
1950 Triumph St, Vancouver

“Parallel 49 Brewing is easily my favourite brewery in East Van. Everything about this place just works. It’s a huge space with an awesome atmosphere, and every time I’ve been it’s been busy, lively, and full of good energy ♥

We dropped in while the Brazil World Cup match was on, grabbed a spot in the beer garden and then the grandstand seating, and settled in for a few beers. The Space Kitty is an absolute go-to, and the range of beers here is outstanding. We also shared a poutine, which was the perfect match 🍻

There are plenty of great breweries in Vancouver, but Parallel 49 keeps pulling me back. Incredible beer, a fantastic venue, and so many great memories made here over the years. Easily the pick of the bunch 💯“

“First time here, before heading to a show at the Wise Hall. Ordered the muffuletta Sando and chips and queso. Excellent portions, we didn’t run out of queso before the chips were finished, which is always a pet peeve of mine. The muffuletta was huge as described in the menu, and was amazing. We’ll be back!“

Granville Island Brewing Brewery • $$

“We stopped by just before the England vs. Mexico match, right at the peak of the crowd. Even with about a 20-minute wait to get in, the service was efficient and well organized. The staff were friendly, patient, and welcoming throughout our visit.

The beers were refreshing and full of flavor, our order arrived surprisingly quickly, and what stood out the most was that everyone continued serving with a genuine smile until the very end.

If you’re in the area and looking for a place to relax for a while with a great drink, I’d definitely recommend stopping by.“

“Life of a transit operator, we see lots of things when we work. My joy is trying new restaurants, coffee shops, dessert shops and curiosity arise to my eyes when there is lots of customers in a place. I try Bells and Whistles today with my daughter. I admit the fish tacos was delicious for appetizer. We order popcorn shrimps and try one of their new feature cheese burger with jalapeños plus fries too. My food was good and I like my food hot not cold. The waitress was very helpful and courteous.“

“My parents and I visited during the World Cup Weds June 24 - we were so impressed with the speed of service! Paula was attentive and friendly and did an excellent job. She and the staff in the restaurant were slammed during the Brazil game, after the Canada v Switzerland match. We could watch the Brazil match on the TV and food and beer were great. Thanks to all staff for a great World Cup experience full stop - it was incredible how great it was given the volume and chaos!“
