In the heart of Victoria’s historic China town. Great food and service. Has a bit of a romantic vibe. Also a perfect place for friends to grab a drink and tapas and catch up. A brilliant addition to Victoria’s restaurant and bar scene. Also very clean bathrooms.
Perfect spot for an evening with friends. The cocktails are fantastic and the food is delicious. Small plates, perfect for sharing and trying new things.Service was friendly and the staff clearly know and love their menu.So excited to come back.

Loved our visit to Matadora - warm, intimate, and very welcoming! An adventurous cocktail to start us off then delicious food served in portions to share or not (get away from my braised pork bao bun! Yes to sharing the divine Basque cheesecake!). The olives were the tastiest I've ever eaten...??!! I didn't expect that! Thanks to the friendly staff and hosts for giving us an fun night.
