“We’ve been here twice this month for lunch and had fish and chips both times because it was so good the first time. Had cod the first time and haddock the second time. I found the cod was better and meatier. Atmosphere is great with seating at a window we had a beautiful view of the Vesuvius harbour. Service was great and our waitress told us Mondays and Tuesdays they have Mexican food specials and I think our waitress had a Mexican accent.“
“The fried calamari was perfectly prepared, a great start! Seafood chowder was really delicious; rich, creamy broth with a great variety of seafood. Cedar plank Salmon was also yummy, presentation was a little weird - the cedar plank with the salmon was placed on top of the mashed potatoes for some reason.Service was very slow, but fortunately, we weren't in a hurry, just be aware if you don't have time to hang out.“
“Had lunch for the very first time at Rob’s Lighthouse Eatery yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed my Caesar wrap that Rob prepared exactly to my specs. I could not believe that I was able to purchase two wraps for $24? What an incredible value, not to mention the true blue service by Rob and Heidi. I will be back with all my friends!“
“The chef prepares excellent meals with high quality ingredients. The menu is varied and one can't go wrong. Seafood is a highlight but the lamb, beef or chicken dishes are also excellent. The prices are very reasonable and overall it is hard to believe this quality is available in such a small centre off the beaten path. I might add the service was excellent also.Kid-friendliness: In the summer the outdoor patio dining is open with a chance for younger children to stretch their legs. Staff are very easy and friendly. Menu tends toward adult choices but there are some for kids.“
“Final supper on the island before our journey back to the prairies. This supper was memorable. Large portions, great seafood linguine, good chowder, fish and chips and the shrimp platter. Service was great, our servers were a pleasure to talk with and made us feel valued and welcome. When we return to the island, this place will be on our must visit list again!“
“My wife and I love the Cow Bay view from booths, and overall restaurant ambiance, but it is the food that brings us back. Seafood Linguini, and the Katsu Bowl are favourites. In fact, we’ve just done take out orders of 2 Katsu Bowls, 2nd time in a week. This is a most excellent taste sensation, a combination of Thai (peanut & coconut) Japanese (Katsu crispy chicken) and creamy chow mein noodles with veggies. Try It! Yummy!“
“A must go place!A must try: Spicy Sticky Ribs (warning the full rack is an enormous tower and they are very spicy but very good)I will definitely go back there, no questions asked.Plus they have Tesla destination charger for free, as well as another public charger.—-I suspect someone from their staff saw my Tesla parked while I was inside asking for the charger to be turned on, so they thought I was just parking without charging. I didn’t feel bad about the note left in my window as I would’ve done the same thing, but it was just a misunderstanding.Parking: The parking seems to be shared by other businesses, I suspect it can get crowded during popular dinner times, but I was having lunch so it was practically empty.“
